Bute supporters know what I am talking about. I just rewatched both Donaire's and Rigondeaux's last fights to kind of analyze where they are at in their careers. I'm sorry Cuban fans but I just can't comprehend how you think that Rigondeaux is on the same level as Donaire, he has got power but his accuracy and timing isn't as good as Donaire's . His foot speed is also lacking. He does have a great defense but I'm not sure about that stance of his. I can see him fighting a technical fight with Donaire, but Donaire will just eat him up. Donaire is right maybe in a few years- let your fighter grow fans....I know you want to see him in there with the best but you can't rush these things. Donaire has gotten the opposition so afraid after the Montiel KO that boxers don't want to open up and throw punches. I think Moreno is a better boxer than Rigondeaux, I can just envision that chess match. Sorry to spit out the truth to Rigo fans but man you got to open up your eyes and accept the truth...he don't stand a chance fighting Donaire.
I've been saying this all along and agree with you 100%. Rigo will not achive what people think he will. Some idiots have him on their P4P lists, which is ridiculous. Open challenge, any Rigo fans. Convince me otherwise.
yeah people on here say stupid **** like Donaire is hittable, he's looked like crap his last fights, I'm sorry but he's only hittable when he wants to be and he has not looked like crap at all, his only problem I can tell is that he tries to make it too exciting and goes for the KO when he should be just working the other fighter taking his time and then blow him out late but that's just him, he truly wants to put on exciting fights.
Rigo has had what, 10 fights? And Your Obviously not biased, judging by your avatar, but you do make good points.
yeah I'm pretty biased but at least I'm not delusional. I actually have a fighter that has proven he's the best whenever he fights in a weight class.
I agree that Donaire's experience would be too much but in all honestly Rigo is a far greater challenge and more legacy defining win than any of the jokers he's been fighting like midget Narvaez, Vasquez Jr and now Mathebula.....c'mon son!!
Rigo's SD win on the undercard of Pac/Marg really scared me, and is moving pretty slowly IMO. Nonito wins at this stage
That's why he never mention Rigondeaux, and the analyst, I c you are very good, let c, Rigondeaux KO Ramos toy with him for a few rounds, and what happen with Donaire? He didn't look that good against Vazquez Jr. I don't know who will win if they fight, but it will not be easy for neither one of them, and there's a reason why Donaire and Arum never mention Rigondeaux on the same sentence with Nonito, just like DLH doesn't mention Lara and Canelo on the same sentence... PS. Not trying to get into an argument or convince anyone, it is very hard to make a fanatic c the truth, and the SD was not even close, Rigondeaux gave a lesson to the Maestrito, and he ran for the last five rounds, still he couldn't be touch and he hit Cordova every time he threw, you guys don't want to say that it was GR first 12 round in his 6 or 7 fight, I want to know how many of your idols has done that, fighting for a title in his 6 fight or seven I don't remember now, against an ex-champ in his prime, it was not a gift ala Canelo or Jr. but haters are going to hate anyway, and even in defeat they will come out with an excuse, by the way Donaire is not a big draw and I'm sure if they fight in Miami the new stadium will be packed.
I disagree as Nonito does not train like he used to his flabby midsection tells it all. Could someone post that clip where Nonito misses a shot in has last fight after trying to imitate Roy Jones.
You can't derail a hypertrain, have to be done by a fighter unless of course the promotor is protecting the "fighter"
