Let's Discuss This: Valero's Potential...

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Morrissey, Apr 21, 2010.

  1. I think he would have become a good solid champ, but I think he had the potential to be a lower level all time great. Fighters of his ilk tend to fizzle out fast.. but if he had kept his **** together I give him a shot to win against anyone at 135 and 140.

He was known for being 'wild' and 'like an animal' or whatever but I think thats a misnomer. At least in his last few fights he showed a lot of patience, along with great hand speed, will, and heart... In the De Marco fight I really thought we were seeing a future star of boxing emerge... What a damn shame.

I think he would have smothered Marquez for a victory if they had fought this year, either at 135 or 140.

He would have been a Solid Champ, IMO he would be decent at Light Welterweight but should have stayed at Lightweight.

I think dudes lack of balls n heart (which was clear in the Ultimate ***** move of murder/suicide, if you are gonna kill ne1 @ least have the ****in sack to face their family and tell them why) would have cost him eventually.

NO the dude was out of his ****in mind and killed his wife, who im sure he loved very much!! Then when he realized what he had done he took his own life! He had a severe mental illness... schizophrenia! Google that ****... he also took street drugs, which turned him phychotic due to his mental condition!
