I think it is worth mentioning that while Fury did much better than I thought he would against Usyk, he has not won a meaningful fight in over two years, so I am going to put him pretty low, here. I respect a higher ranking. 1. Usyk 2. Parker 3. Joshua 4. Kabeyal 5. Fury 6. Hrgovic 7. Dubois 8. Zhang 9. Anderson 10. Vacant (Ajagba, Whyte, Bakole, or Huni...no one stands out)
Parker definitely isn’t better than Joshua he literally lost to him and the only guy Joshua has faced and hasn’t beat is Usyk who is number 1
I respect it. I have always been and remain a fan of AJ, but Parker to me has much the hotter hand with the Wilder and Zhang wins. Yes, AJ has a better legacy, but Parker has been doing the better work lately by a sight.
#1 Usyk #2 Fury #3 AJ #4 Parker #5 Hrgovic for now #6 Zhang #7 Wilder Not really sure on the rest. Until someone else beats Fury he remains number 2. Don't really see the logic in putting AJ above him based on "meaningful fights" when AJ hasn't won one since before he lost to Usyk.
He beat the corpse of Wilder. Wilder barely threw a punch all fight and Zhang good win yes but he got dropped twice Zhang too flat footed to end him. Parker also not avenged a single one of his losses so it’s overrating him to put him ahead of Joshua
Was it not better than beating an 0-1 MMA fighter? Or Bob Helenius, who was starched by that corpse in 1? And have we forgotten red-hot Zhang? Look, most people are going to agree with you. I dissent. I think Parker has earned a shot.
I find it interesting some have Zhang top 5 and Wilder no where to be seen... I see Wilder sparking Zhang personally.
