I would like to see some comp. to all the fighters that the Klitschko's have faced .. to the one's say... Tyson and Ali .. or others have faced for all you Klitschko haters have said that we now have a week HW div. I think you will find that the comp is just as good in some inst. as was then and that the Klitsckos are really just that good to be ahead of all the rest ... for instance how well would Peter done against Boe or ect.. ect..??
bull**** mate. Spin it how you want this era is weak. forget the records. Look at the condition they come in! look at the stamina and total lack of balls when they step into the ring. then compare that to past generations
You forgot the lack of skill.Today's contender also lack skill, the ones that have some are 40+ year old remnants from the 90's.
Couldnt agree more mate. This division is shocking at best. The sooner this generation retires the better, including the put you to sleep through bordom klitschko brothers.
Peter vs. Bowe would be ridiculously one sided. Bowe was very skilled, Peter is just tough with a good punch every 6 years. The Klitschko's are about as good as Bowe. Haye is the other modern heavy who would be top 10 in most other eras.
the fact that over 40's are still competing well should tell you enough! Holyfield at his peak, could BARELY dominate the heavyweight division. Now hes still a credible top 5 contender. The facts are there. looking boxrec i can see why someone would say todays era isnt weak. But look deeper and you see why those bumms are undefeated. Also look at any of their fights youll see desperately out of shape young fighters who are slow lack power or heart and are gassed by the mid rounds
Ho! my,my, did he beat Ibragmov??? NO!!! did he beat Chagaev??? NO!! did he beat Waldimir and Vitali??? NO!! in the early 90's i recall around five guys in the top ten over 40.... you don't see that today.....
I stopped reading here. No he's not. Old Foreman did well decades ago. Sonny Liston had the speed of a 70 year old.
Foreman was a great fighter who was able to compete in his 40's. Today, we have not so greats from the 90's fighting as contenders in their or close to their 40's.
Yea, right of the top of my head i can rmember three, Foreman, Holmes, and Smith. all were in the top ten at the same time!!! find one in the top ten today???
Dont bring haye into this like that. you and everbody else on here know deep down that he is a klitschko dodging puss bag.
that does not matter .. it depends on how well they do against the comp out there. Haye has done nothing but run his mouth and look where people put him.
