They have a statue of a fake boxer, making one of Joey Giardello, and have the Bennie Briscoe Award, but nothing for Joe! Smoking Joe was awesome and should get all the recognition in world. Same for Giardello. However, Briscoe never won a world title and does not deserve to be held in the same regard. He was good not great.
Its a shame. Is why Floyd always says hes not concerned about legacy and more about money. I'm sure he cares a bit, but can see the point. Smokin Joe is a legend. The fights with Ali are remembered as some of the great match ups
