But going back and looking at all of Spece's performances, that was the worse Spence I had ever seen. Hell, Ennis, Ortiz, and Stanionis would've beaten that version of Spence.

That night, yes. But you can honestly see that there was something wrong with Spence. I have never seen a 50/50 fight, since Hagler-Hearns, that was that one-sided.

Again, Benavidez, Porter, Horn, Kava, Khan, Brook all did better than Spence who are much lesser versions than Spence. Crawford didn't just become super-saiyan over night.

That simply a matter of styles. There's a ton of different factors to take in to consideration. It's rarely one thing.

Sometimes get themselves up higher for bigger fights. Same when fighting a lesser opponents at times. Can fight down to their level. They aren't like characters in a boxing video game.

I'm sorry, that is not the same Spence that was against Crawford.

No disrespect, I just disagree. I understand your point that styles makes fights but there's no way in hell you can tell me that Crawford was that damn dominant due to Spence being tailor-made for him but fighters less than Spence were more competitive.

That's not my point. Name a performance where Crawford looked that good.

I don't necessarily disagree with this. My issue is people saying that Crawford would beat print Floyd, Manny, Vernon, Pernell, Hearns, and Leonard due to beating that version of Spence. Context is never taken in consideration in the boxing community.

What's subjective? A clearly sick and compromised looking man entering the ring and proceeded to be hurt by every single punch? The doctor checked on him after the 3rd round when he hadn't even taken punishment, FFS.

Spence was drained and in no condition to fight, really.

Bro, P4P lists are meaningless to you, so walk away. Don't let it ruin your life.

I agree with a lot of what you said.

My take is that this fight was to see who the best Welter was and who could unify. It's Crawford and there is no doubt. He deserves all the credit for that.

Spence on the other hand looked exceptionally awful. I don't know what it was and I can only speculate. If he couldn't make the weight safely, that is on him. You're not a welter if you can't make the weight limit so Crawford is definitely the best welter. What I take more issue with is how poorly Spence fought. He should have regrouped after that clumsy KD in round 2 but tried to immediately redeem it and was embarrassingly sloppy in doing so. He was defensively more irresponsible than I have ever seen him, and what is worse, he just kept doing it. If he was truly weight drained this would actually explain a lot of what happened. I have wrestled weight drained and it is one of the worst feelings in the world. You're constantly exhausted and it feels like adrenaline has overpowered your body to the point you feel... Helpless and weak and like you drank 10 coffees without eating any food is probably the best I can describe it. Like your nerves have consumed you and you can't even act on instinct.
I don't know factually how Spence was feeling but we will get a better sense at 154. Even if he is better at 154, from what I saw he will do better but still lose. I can't imagine you forget an a$$ whopping like that, ever. I just hope nothing else is at play here and Spence is truly healthy. If he loses convincingly again it will be his resume that will be talked about as "smoke and mirrors".
