I can see it now. The only reason why PBF-Cotto did good was because of the Ricans. The only reason why PBF-Pac did good was becasue of the Pinoys. Again I will ask and you can do a poll to see, Just how many Floyd fans from this forum paid to get a ticket to see him fight, you avoid addressing this cus you know its the truth you do not support your fighter, the only way you support Mayweather is by going to Dave and Busters or your local pub to watch it for free.

if he was teh draw his own fans would atleast show up to the FREE Public Weigh ins, but they dont I mean he is that boring in which his own fans wont even go to a free weigh in for christ sakes....

i think floyd mayweather jr. is the face of boxing today because boxing needs a "bad guy" and floyd, like him or not, gives people the perception of being a "bad guy". with apologizes to pacquiao, floyd mayweather jr. is the most recognizable face of boxing now that de la hoya has retired. pacquiao hasn't really gone mainstream in popularity in the united states like floyd has although i think pacquiao is more recognizable worldwide.

although i sometimes think floyd jr. is sometimes arrogant, i have seen a humble side of him (when he's not promoting his fights). i've always been intrigued with his superior, seemingly supernatural boxing skills and over time i've also become a fan of his. yes, i even like when he talks trash because he makes things interesting and he knows damned well he gets on people's nerves with all his brash talking.

so in answering the question if floyd is a PPV giant, the answer is yes. he's probably the PPV P4P king at the moment along with being the no. 1 p4p fighter in the world..

dancing with the stars audience...plus the budweiser/nascar wwe audience....brilliant...al haymon is a genius...and if some still wanna say that the mexican audience is what propelled his latest ppv...then fine...i say more great work by haymon(who originally said this fight should be on regular hbo)...."were gonna postpone this **** and throw it on mexican independence day"....people need to stop bitching about how floyd didnt take out the smaller guy and how boring it was....because floyds next ppv will do numbers no matter what...and his checks wont decrease....maybe floyd has manipulated it so it works that way...but its just reality

 

What does that have to do with anything? I live in Houston and if PBF ever fought here I'd go and so would others I know. Juan Diaz fights here all the time and I've been to two of his fights here in JMM and Paulie. For me it has to do with him fighting in Vegas more than anything.

 

He questions our support yet in this economy Im more than happy to sit at home and support than to pay for tickets right now.

I just want to know why Bazooka hates Floyd so much. It is an irrational hate. He gives Floyd no credit for anything. Anything he does you hate on it.
The way you talk all teh celebrities that were there only came because JMM was fighting. The fact that Floyd can bring out a-listers let's you know he is a draw. Explain the reasons behind that.

I did have a revelation today, and I understand your love for Floyd, along with everybody else, He is one of few good African American fighters left, in other words you guys do not have many left to support, I understand the nuthugging or love if you want to call it that, The heavyweight divison has been taken over by russians, The lower weight divisons there are not many african american fighters that are elite now and days....

Sorry I didnt come to this conclusion sooner, but it does explain why you get offended, heck of there were very few Latinos on top I would be grasping on to the ones that were so I see where your comming from.

 

I think a real draw should also sold out fight venues... Floyd-JMM mismatch fight failed to sell out the MGM Grand...
