Lets face it - Dimitrenko larrups Briggs

Where was this announced? Boxrec has the Cannon set to fight the ever prolific TBA.

 

Well that should be the last we hear of Briggs then. It's funny how Haye seems to have found Shannon a better opponent than himself though.

 

Dimitrenko made a good showing vs Eddie Chambers, but was ultimately beaten, and that's his finest hour.

His punch resistance leave much to be desired and his willingness to trade does him no favors.

He's got a good jab and decent footwork to dictate real estate, but one hook from Briggs or times R hand over a pitter patter jab and it's over.

IMO.......this is a gimme for Briggs.

If I was a promoter banking on Briggs v Haye to make some loot.......

I'd be more concerned for Haye doing his part vs Gjerjaj.

Gjerjaj isnt great by any means, but he takes a good shot and has better power than he's given credit for.

Haye's not gonna DeMori him like he believes. Gjerjaj is gonna come to fight.....gonna be Haye's speed and countering abilities to win him this fight. :think

 

Dimitrenko is trash. I wouldn't be surprised if Briggs KO'd him in first round.

 

I thought he would have been happy to take Briggs on for his laughably high ranking with the WBA. Clearly he has his eyes on a bigger prize.

 

Me neither, but if he doesn't get him out of there by the third he'll be wheezing and spluttering his way to defeat.

The punch Dimitrenko landed on Sosnowski would have knocked out any heavyweight through out history. Briggs will share the same fate, and be victim number 39. What a long winning streak on Dimi's resume.

 

I actually give Briggs a big chance to win here.

 

Briggs wins easily by knockout in round 4.
