He tried to fight the best in the world but he doesn't wanna take a blood test 14 days before a fight which they said they would do a 5 day window in...

 

Mayweather wants to say when he is 50 years old "I never lost a fight, I was the best ever" so he can use it for whatever other business ventures he gets into.
His whole marketing of "mayweather mania" is based on him being undefeated.

 

dosent change what has been revealed in the last couple of days about a paquio fight

 

#1Its still a rule in boxing and no one should be put above it, inlcuding Mayweather, someone got away with it, it kills the integrity of the sport.

Also, you have to remember from the Joe Buck show where wahlberg tells floyd he will have a good movie career. He said that because obviously Floyd wants to cross over, he doesn't want to be a boxer anymore. It's not really in his heart like it was. He wants to do dancing with the stars, he wants to have a reality TV show, he wants to be in the WWE. He doesn't want to fight, his ultimate goal is pop culture type icon where he is involved in music/tv/movies. He wants to be the Hulk Hogan(1985-1993) of boxing. It's money 1st, popularity 2nd, legacy 3rd.

I think his desire to box is dead. He wants to keep his name relevant for other ventures. He only came back for more money, that's it.
