The most important ingredient the sport needs in this country now is terestrial TV backing.

    Agreed!

With our prospects we could well have 10 world champions by the end of 2012. Bit too optimistic?

Good times for our game indeed :partytime

I'm coming off the high from last night but I'm still as happy as a fly in horse**** (I think that's how you say it :patsch

Anyhoo. We've got so much talent right now through the weight classes. Guys on top of their game like Haye, Khan, Burns and Froch (despite the loss), guys who are clawing their way back like Enzo Mac and guys right on the fringes of world title glory for the first time like Cleverley, Murray, Munroe and Booth (hopefully).

Then there's the talent at domestic/euro level like Smith last night, Sykes, Barker, Bellew, DeGale, Joe Murray, Groves, Gavin, Brook, Lindsay, McCloskey and of course Appleby, Kris Hughes, Kenny Anderson and Limond's fighting Morales and who knows where Craig McEwan will end up.

There is so much to look forward to. I think we're in for a great end to 2010 that began last night and an even better 2011.

    Roll on!
