I don't think Ward will be back. If i had to guess those tweets probably had something to do with the Creed 2 movie that's about to start filming.

    Mayweather , Ward , Cotto , Klitschko.

Cotto fought 6 fighters that were on the p4p list. WK fought zero

Cotto beat 2 Lineal World Champions. WK beat zero

Cotto knocked out Journeymen , whereas WK was knocked out by them.

    I voted the first option.

I guess it is dependent on Floyd and Ward being able to stay away from fighting again.

Cotto faced very tough comp, better than Ward, but he lost too many big fights.

    He'll get in eventually, though.

Klitschko ruled over a weak division, but he'll get in first ballot just based on his stellar (on paper) championship run.

Hell, Tzyu got in quickly, and his best win was Zab.

The Moseley win was a huge win for Cotto, better than Tzyu, for example, ever had.

Cotto was on track but then ran into the (probably) loaded gloves of Antonio Margarito.

It was hit and miss after that.

But, I agree Ward will get in first because of his stellar record.

Cotto lost too many big fights - granted the comp. was stellar, but he did lose.

It's a weird world where the entirety of Ward's career is eclipsed in duration by post-knockout Roy, but here we are. Andre turned pro 3 months after Glen iced Roy, is now "officially" retired, and Roy is still fighting.

I do think Ward comes back if the dollars make sense, but that's pretty crazy.

That is wild! Roy might end up still active on his club fighter tour when SOG becomes HOF eligible!

I'm not arguing Cotto has the better resume. I'm arguing his popularity and accomplishments together might offer him a bigger boon.

HANG ON GUYS. I KNEW I WAS FORGETTING ONE VERY IMPORTANT 2017 RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT (FROM SOMEONE WHO ALSO FOUGHT IN THE CALENDAR YEAR, MAKING HIM ELIGIBLE FOR THE 2023 BALLOT)

    Ricardo ****ing Mayorga. :bandit:

    The plot thickens.

While I don’t believe that most of these guys have fought their last fight (except for Wlad), if they all stayed retired, I think Floyd, Wlad, and Ward go in. Cotto gets in the next year with Manny (whom I love but prob shouldn’t be fighting in 2019).

FK....One of the best trash talkers for the sport. Gave us some WWF buildup to his fights.
He will go one year but too much competition for him to make this round IMO
