I always felt all this time that Katsidis would beat Campbell and when i was said Katsidis had a real chance against Juan Diaz people on this site laughed at me mostly the yanks.

Look what Campbell a guy that lost to Robbie Peden did to Diaz made him look stupid and people were laughing at me saying Katsidis had a 50/50 chance against Diaz.

Casa hardly threw many punch's in his last fight and got a gift.

I hope Rocky stalks Casa then gives him a retiring present a big F-ing KO.
Then we can stop all this hype about how great there fighters are.

If its not Arce its Juan Diaz if its not Diaz its Cotto if its not Cotto its Guzman if its not Joan its Pavlik who they think is the 2nd coming of Ray Robinson.

After Pacman got the decision the other day should have heard the hoards of Fans saying Marquez was Robbed.
Whe the fight was that close it good have been called either way or a draw.
I said you want to see Robbed watch Green vs Beyer ot Fenech vs Nelson 1 thats robbed.

I dont care if Katsidis wins loses or draws but i hope he wins for his sake and for the fans that have to here day in day out Katsidis is no good.

 

Geez mate your really taking things to extremes here. Campbell and Katsidis are very different fighters. Stylistically Campbell was a very bad fight for Diaz. Diaz is still a better fighter then Kat, and would still start as a favourite for sure mate. As for the Ray Robinson comparisons i don't know where you pulled that one from. Rubbish. I have never heard anyone on these boards compare any of those fighters to Ray Robinson, or anything remotely close. People think Cotto and Pavlik are very good exciting fighters, as they do with Diaz. Nothing wrong with that. Of course when talented fighters are coming off great wins they will be hyped to a degree, its the nature of the sport mate. Always has been, always will be. Just because a fighter loses doesn't suddenly mean they were over rated as well.

 

Boppa, regards to Diaz v Katsidis, people acknowledged what a great fight it would be no question. However, due to the experience and skills of Diaz, most thought that Diaz would win. To be honest, it is an extremely fair assesment. No one was saying Katsidis didn't have a chance, more so that Diaz would most likely be too good.

 

Although Diaz would be in trouble if he took on Katsidis like he took Campbell. That phone box fighting style right in close suits Rocky down to the ground.

 

Amen to that Gonzo. Katsidis would kill Diaz in close.

The funny thing is MSTR doesnt think on this site they overate there fighters yet i recall not so long ago a thread that simply said.

Pavlik would beat Hagler. All i could do was shake my head. Theres **** on this site like that 24 /7.

Im about International fighters getting more love and the Yanks to stop hyping up there guys like there unbeatable when we all know when 2 fighters get into the Ring (Guns and Roses) anything can happen.

 

Yeah Diaz fights like that, he loses against Rocky.

Yeah mate, but your looking at the worst side of things... There are a f*ckload of good posters on this site, and you know it. I just ignore the idiots, i thought you would do the same having been here a while now. Katsidis would have more one punch power then Diaz in close. Diaz is a better combination puncher, has a better jab and overall boxing ability. I think the fight would be an all out war to be honest, it just looks like Diaz has a couple of things in his favour. Watch his fight against Jose Cotto for example. The way he would counter punch of small half steps and befuddle him with combination punching. Thats what i was expecting against Katsidis, the version we saw against Earl anyway. Lets see how Kat goes against a shot version of Casa before jumping to conclusions. They are both still developing as fighters, so anything could really happen.

 

Depends how he fought, he has an under rated jab, and better combination punching. I am basing my analysis around this, as he fought against Jose Cotto for example. IF he goes to war it could be a long night. He didn't have much choice against Campbell, as Campbell is the superior boxer.
