Only be reputation. The man didn't look good heading into the Pacquiao fight. Try to keep it real.

Agreed, people claiming Floyd will KO PAC are crazy. PAC has a better chance of KO Floyd . but Floyd has a better chance of beating PAC.

No one is getting a KO, but Pac's chances are higher than Floyd's. Both are low.

So Floyd ruined him then? Get real.

Manny got him out of there in like 2-3 rounds and sent Ricky into depression and nearly killed himself.

Floyd took TEN rounds to beat him.

Mental midget response. I never said that. Stick to what was actually said.

I just said Hatton was not looking good heading into the Pacquiao fight. Period, end of discussion. He almost got KO'd in his next fight after Mayweather. Juan Lazcano was no slouch, but if that man could almost get Ricky out of there, you best be sure Pacquiao was going to do it. If you think he looked good heading into his fight with Pac, again, I question if you even know WTF you are looking at when you watch a fight.

And for the record: My official prediction for that fight was Manny Pacquiao by obliteration. I knew Ricky was going to get worked. Sorry if you didn't and thought Hatton was "in form" based on a performance against the light hitting Malignaggi who had no chance at testing Hatton's punch resistance.

Even more impressive is it took 44 FIGHTS to KO Hatton. TEN rounds is nothing.

Pac was the cleanup crew like always. Floyd first one to KO Hatton EVER! Mosley first one to KO Margarito. Margarito first one to KO Cotto. Notice a trend? Pac never fights fighters at their best.

The bookies disagree (seeing as you're all so keen to bring them into the argument).

    LOL at Pacquaio jumpin in.

Mayweather is the one that JUMPS in. He does it every time against southpaws. Watch him do it against the last two, Ortiz and Guerrero.

Mayweather's jumpin in made it EASY for Guerrero to time him and Guerrero is slow as shlt.

Post from 2011 questioning if Manny Pacquiao was cherry picking Hatton. My response 3 months before the fight...

"Yep. They knew Hatton was done. As did anybody else who watched his fight with Juan Lazcano." Posted 2-2-2011

So maybe your blind ass couldn't see Hatton was done, but I saw it. Just so you know I wasn't lying I dug up an old post. I'm sure there are many others. When that fight was signed, I said Hatton was going to get obliterated. He was finished. Disclaimer: Not that I thought he would beat Pacquiao at 100% either. Pacquiao would never lose to Hatton.

Cotto himself said he was drained and at a catchweight against Pac, kind of how like Pac was against Torrecampo. Torrecampo KTFO Pac. So not surprised Pac KTFO Cotto who was beat half to death with concrete pads.

It just depends on Mayweather's mood/success. If he can pop Pac easily and safely he will go for the KO Pac, but if there is much resistance he will take the decision. When you look after the Hatton KO:

    1. There were concerns over Marquez and Mosely finishing in their respective corners. Frankly, he should've stopped both.
    2. Sucker punch or no, Ortiz wasn't going to last much longer the way the fight was moving. Floyd was walking him down, Victor was no threat and was getting hit with clean hard shots. Floyd was starting to sit down on his punches because Victor had no answer.
    3. He buzzed Cotto in the 12th, but didn't follow up. He thought Cotto was dangerous and at that point unfortunately he was happy with the decision. I'm not sure that he could've stopped Cotto even if he followed up, I gotta think that Cotto had enough to get off the canvas.
    4. When Floyd walked down Guerrero in round 8, Robert had no answer. It looked effortless on Floyds part. 2-3 more rounds of that and I think he woulda stopped Robert. ****es me off but Floyd said he hurt his hand. Should've been a stoppage.
    5. Floyd knew how dangerous Canelo was but still buzzed Canelo with that uppercut and wouldn't let Canelo out of the corner until his head stopped spinning. Like Canelo, I don't think Floyd ever seriously considered KOing Canelo. Unfortunate, because after the Ortiz fight and knowing the way Canelo likes to box, I thought there was an off chance that he might walk Canelo down so I put a couple hundred on Floyd by KO/TKO.
    6. Floyd buzzed Maidana at the end of round 1 with a beautiful left hook. Maidana was smart and bought time with a low blow he would've gotten a Knockdown. Floyd wanted to stop Maidana and thought he could with his history with Khan, Ortiz and Lopez. At one point Sr. said "if you want to stop him you need to sit and dig to the body." Maidana had a good gameplan that slowed Mayweather's counters. After the first round of the first fight there was no real threat of a Mayweather KO.

The pattern I see here is, if Floyd is dominating defensively to where he can sit down on his shots without getting hit, or after tiring or hurting his opponent and he starts walking them down, there is a serious chance of a KO. If there is any chance of getting caught by a good shot or if Floyd himself is tired or not 100%, he'll just take the decision and call it a day.

Floyd always says his opponents go into survival mode, what he really means is after they get stung a few times and understand that they can't put any damage on him, they get less aggressive and harder for Floyd to counter. Floyd likes to counter because it's safer than leading, where you may get countered. But if they keep coming...

I think he will find Manny really easy to hit and so predictable that he will sit down on his punches without the threat of being hit back. Additionally, I've never seen Manny do anything but aggressively move forward, no matter cleanly he gets hit, he seems to think he'll just get it back on the next exchange. I just see Manny walking into right hands all night and because of this I think there's a fair chance that Manny gets stopped. Floyd by stoppage is 6/1 right now or about 15%. I think chances are higher and it's worth a couple hundred, but I expect a decision.

It's borderline hilarious hearing Mayweather fans predict KOs.....no knockout or KNOCKDOWNS in 8yrs
