I think this is a great fight. Really tough one for Floyd. Pac Clottey is a good 1 as well glad the best are fighting the best again.

    Possible excuses

    Mosley is shot
    Mosley hurt his hand
Ellerbe put something in Mosleys water
Pacquiao paid him to throw the fight
Nasmin richardson gave him the wrong gameplan becuase he's mayweathers friend too
    mosley was over rated anyway

the best is not fighting the best mayweather shouldve been fighting pacquiao.. even thought pacquiao is not a welter and should be fighting at jr welter or lower he had a big chance of beating pussyboy.. now we stuck with a boring fight where mayweather is going to be running and running and throw a few punches while mosley follows him around the ring and win a boring 12 rds decision... then with stuck with hearing how great mayweather is and how he is a ring general when in reality he's just scare to put it on the line...

This is going to be a great fight. A true fight. No excuses. Floyd will be fresher and faster, Mosley will be wiser and more experienced. The best fighting the best. Will at the very least end a few "hate" threads.

Lok at what I wrote. Try to follow me. I am talking about Mosely being wiser than he was years ago. I'm not comparing him to Floyd, I'm comparing him to his old self.

How the **** did you get that with what I posed?:patsch At some point Shane was at his OVERALL BEST......meaning he had the ring experiene and intelligence that complimented him being in his physical prime......He may not have even been at his PEAK, physically. But overall there was a time not too long ago where Shane was at his overall best.....at 38 we know he's physically past his prime years but he still has more attributes as a fighter NOW than a young ineperienced Shane Mosely. This is NOT the best version of Shane and I think we all know that....With that said, Shane is still very capable and dangerous for any WW in the world. He's operating at a very high level regardless of his age.

I wouldn't go that far....Floyd is very ring intelligent but lets not get carried away. His talent and athletic ability allows him more opportunities to take advantage of those lesser than he......but when he's in there with guys on his level....who are as intelligent with similar talent and skill Floyd is tested. He was tested against DLH and although JLC isn't a great boxer that DLH and Floyd are he is very intelligent and a crafty mexican fighter. He was able to give Floyd a tough fight although Floyd was injured. Floyd is PRIME.....at his over all best and at his PEAK. I think that will be the difference and the advantage Floyd has in style match up.

Shane is more "efficent" now that he's older. I know that in the marg fight he wasn't conservative b/c he didn't need to be. Marg was there to be hit at will and Shane exploited that....but with Floyd he'll have to get use to chasing him down, adapting to constant movement with a very accurate jab or lead right. Shane's style before may have been better suited to beat Shane...when he was half a step faster with quicker reflexes, but he's still fast for 38 and a lot more powerful and stronger than Floyd. That may be enough to beat him.

Mosley at best is a 7 out of 10 now, 10 being his prime.

thats just some hater **** to discredit floyd for taking the fight and if he wins the fight, they have the hater **** ready all ready :good

was mosley passed his prime when he whooped margarito ? was mosley passed his prime when 80 percent of the esb memebers felt that mosely would ko berto ?

the answer is hell no ! but now when hes fighting floyd hes old, passed his prime, just cant cut it anymore.

age aint nothing but number, you are passed your prime when and only when.you start to lose to c class fighters, can take punch anymore, move slower, reflexes are ****ed up etc etc.you are only as old as you feel not to mention that mayweather is older then margarito and berto.one guy mosley beat and the other most sayed mosley would ko.

so the people that believe that **** shot be shot in the head for being a hater of the sport.the fight everyone wants and until may 1st have to read there bull **** ova and ova again.i never liked the fight in way because i knew mayweather would not get his full credit for the fight.

mosley is to old and to this and that, well manny is to small and is shorter with lesser reach and a natural 2 pounder or what ever the hell weight he started at.so just blast those *******s like i do and keep it moving, i say **** um **** um all, with a sick dick :thumbsup

i feel better now, bye haters :hi:

Shane was past his physical prime when he beat marg and when he was scheduled to beat Berto:yep. It doesn't mean he's not dangerous or a serious threat. MOST felt Marg would beat this version of Shane, BECAUSE he was not in his prime anymore, but Shane proved even this version of Sugar is good enough to beat the best WW's out there today.

Shane has lost some speed, reflexes as he's aged. But he's still a top fighter who is considered the best WW. But to say this is the best version of shane is laughable...even if you didn't say it and think it...it's comedy at its best.

where there are some fans who over compesate or over embelish FOR Floyd....there are just as many who discredit or UNDER appreciate what Floyd does or what he will do. Somewhere in the middle is the truth.

Not the best Shane ever but still a great fighter and a great win for Floyd should he come out on top. He should get the credit for the win...>WILL HE? For some YES....and for some NO. Just like Manny who is also one of the very top guys in the sport....all of his accomplishments and "W's" are discredited soley b/c when you are the best....you got haters on the job. Floyd suffers the same treatment.
