Mayweather had other gears to go up tho that he didnt use in that fight, if Hatton makes him fighter harder by giving him a better fight, who`s to say Floyd doesnt get him outta there sooner.

At the end of the day, both Hatton`s losses came from 2 perfect punches by the top 2 p4pers, why the attacks on Hatton ?
He was a good fighter but just not A+, nothing wrong with that.

I agree with him. From round 5 on PBF was toying with Hatton dropping his hands and looking to bait him into becoming reckless so he could hit him with something big and if you look at the fight he actually tried that "check hook" as they call it earlier in the fight.

I agree with your top sentence but the rest is lunatic material... if Hatton is going down, NO WAY Floyd is gonna hold him up, Floyd is there to get the `W` before anything, he wouldnt be so foolish to carry an opponent only for it to backfire at some stage.

But Hatton knows he's still the better fighter and was coming on in the 2nd round against Pac and he would've beat Mayweather if it wasn't for the ref. I'll take Hatton's word over yours :nut

If that was a fight 2-3 years before I would have agreed with you. However, I sincerely believe that PBF intended to NEVER fight again. He was 6-8 rounds up on all cards, and there was no way the fight could have been seen any other way, and Hatton was so crude it was unbeliveable.

It honestly couldn't backfire and, as others have said, PBF did try that particular punch previously during the fight...

He was measuring for that check hook the whole fight. That is what is referred to as a "schooling" given to Hatton by Floyd. Floyd saw a mistake Hatton was making and tried to exploit it. Hatton never made the necessary adjustment, and ended up getting knocked out. Ownage :deal

Well pac didn't beat Hatton the same way Floyd did, both had their own way of doing it, PBF systematically broke him down and knocked him out, Pac just came in and blew him out, 2 different styles, both nonetheless impressive.

dunno why ppl talk about different versions of Hatton . There is no different versions of him/

i've only ever seen him fight differently once and that was vs featherfisted Malignaggi. He's simply not good enough for the likes of Floyd and Pac.
