It's so weird to see one of my gifs used by someone else. I get disoriented and think 'I didn't post that. When the **** did I post that? I'm ****ing losing it, man, I'm losing it.'

...There he's going to fall over, he's going to fall over, oh, no, no, ohhhh, good, that chair was there.

How threatening an opponent is perceived AT THE TIME of the fight by the general public factors in how much credit a fighter gets over that opponent.

You've been watching boxing for a long time. You should know this ****

Mosley just caused one of the greatest upsets in awhile right before Floyd fought him. Wasn't he a 1:4 underdog against marg?

The CURRENT Mosley just got clowned on by Floyd and didn't do too much against Mora.

It really is one of the most adrenaline-inducing pieces of footage in existence. Right until the very end, Dmitri has us convinced of his untimely demise, before snatching himself back from the dark tendrils which engulfed him.

Well, there at least you've admitted Floyd's fight over Mosley really isn't that spectacular in retrospect. I will agree with you Mosley had plenty fooled on here with short-term memories, who had forgotten just how lackluster he'd looked prior to Margarito. And yes, Floyd does deserve some credit for taking the fight because there was a perceived element of risk. Reality, however, should dictate that Shane was not much more of a dangerous opponent in May of 2010 than he would be in March of 2011.

its still pretty close to the same guy floyd fought. probably better, since being more active keeps him sharper.
the only way i would be impressed is if pac destroys him in under 5.

Because The Ring and Dan Rafael as well as most others had Shane Mosley the #3 P4P fighter in the world when Floyd beat him down for 10 straight rounds. He wasn't "an old grandpa" before the fight. He became one after the fight. That is why Floyd's is far more impressive. This will be the third time in seven fights at Pacquiao's "peak" where he has beaten up a fighter Floyd busted up one year + beforehand.

The truth is that prime Shane would beat both, Floyd and Manny.

Apparently it seems that 7 months ago was such a long time, Not only did Mosley age 100 years, but Floyd haters want to remove or drop him from rankings for inactivity lol.

Prime Shane would lose to Prime Floyd and Manny...whatever you assume their primes to be.

if pac had fought shane before shane fought floyd (when shane offered to come down to 143 and roach said he was too good)....and had he beat him then, id give him all the credit i give floyd considering the last fight mosley had before that (margarito)....now is a different story all together, especially after that shitfest he put up against Mora. I think that about sums up this "double standard" the TS seems to think exists.
