Mosley is underrated. Pacquiao is going to have his hands full with him.

Why'd you even make this post? Before the Mayweather fight you were calling Mosley an aging fighter who struggles with slicksters. You basically all but said Mayweather hand picked him.

It isn't a terrible fight but Mosley will be a year older than the man *******s were calling a grandpa so by their logic he must be an even older grandpa? Either way they should have been trying harder to make a Mayweather fight but instead they're milking the cash cow

Why don't you go back to the threads post fight of Floyd V Mosley, and see how many people were critical over Floyd winning saying "Mosley was over the hill". Now for Pac to be fighting this same fighter months later, gives reason for people to raise an eyebrow.

The difference is when Mayweather fought Mosley, he was coming off an impressive demolishing job on Margo - who'd previously demolished Cotto. Mosley was a feared man and there was a lot of unknowns going into the Mayweather bout. Since Mayweather easily accounted for Mosley, SM looked like **** against Mora and some say deserved to lose, fighters dont recover well after a Mayweather loss, they are spent - thats where Pac comes in. Freddie Roach is very smart with his placement, he knows how much Mayweather takes out of his opponents. Also, when your Mosleys age, 7 months aint exactly yesterday either.

pac looks bad fighting him after he lost and looked bad vs mora.

floyd looked better fighting a shane who beat margarito, but was still very inactive and older.

Mosely destroyed Margarito and posters were saying Mayweather would never fight Mosely blah blah blah ! Mosely vs Mayweather got signed and all of a sudden posters were saying Mayweather is fighting a shot Mosely blah blah blah which continued after Mayweather won the fight ! Now it looks like Pacquiao is fighting Mosely a YEAR older and ..........:think

Just to confirm I am a fan of BOTH Mayweather and Pacquiao and will watch the Pacquiao vs Mosely fight if its made !

Under the circumstances, Pac is cherrypicking, Floyd was not, he was just forced into it. lol.

That said, both guys will be fighting a shot Mosley, dont think the grandpa Floyd fought is any better.

    Oh the irony :rofl

But DLH was shot, weight drained etc.

Yet there were protests at the time as it was perceived Pac was gonna get killed by the much bigger DLH. 18/20 Ring experts picked DLH. This whole forum minus a few people thought Pac was gonna get ktfo.

I'd say he was slightly better. Both mentally and physically.

Well a guy who hadn't fought in 18 months vs a guy who had fought twice in the last 6 months... I dont know, I would give the more active version a slight edge but thats probably been offset by him being slightly older.

Well the 18 months off, and the nearly 2 full training camps didn't help Mosley. But he took some punishment against Mayweather, and like I've said before...I havn't seen the full Mora v Mosley bout, but from what I did see of it...Mosley looked as if he couldn't pull the trigger.

Which if that was the case for the full 12 rounds, may have been a combination of Mosley's age, and the fact that Mayweather was making him think twice about letting his hands go.

Activity helps, but his recent performances havn't really complimented that activity. Mosley's confidence was sky high after Margarito...I can't really say that now. I don't think there is a big difference, but I'd say the Mosley that fought Mayweather was, and will be in slightly better shape all-round.
