Let's get this straight (Wilder, Wlad)

Spot on, Wilder may be more likely to be beaten by sub-par competition due to technical deficiencies BUT he has a style which gives him an almost 50% chance against anyone with a jaw.
Fury, Joshua etc have their kryptonite so-to-speak, but Wilder doesn't.
Doesn't make him a better fighter but I don't think he would be as effective trying to box 'properly', as counter-intuitive as that may seem to some.

 

All three are very limited, in their own way. In a sense, this it what makes the whole situation intriguing.

 

I think Fury is not so limited at all, he's by far the biggest natural boxing talent of the current crop. Whether he puts the work in and keeps focus is another matter, perhaps you consider temperament a talent....

 

More of an attribute than a talent. But yes he has his flaws, just like the other two do. In Fury's case, his temperament in an issue for him. He's also been put on his a**e a few times already which is an issue when up against guys who can bang - like AJ and Wilder can.

 

Wilder is faster, younger, unpredictable and less timid than Wlad.

He will land that right hand at some point but it will it be enough to finish Fury I'm not so sure and also by the time he lands it's possible he will have been thoroughly outboxed and taken numerous shots, will he be fatigued and have less power on his punches by that point ??

 

I think that is the key to the fight. Wlad had become ever more risk averse to the point that he didn't do enough to force the issue.

Wilder will and if Fury's punches are as weak as v pianeta he will have no problems taking one before dishing out the real thing
