Unfortunately you often hear 'exposed' moments after a top fighter loses. People said Montiel was exposed by nonito, ffs!

The Floyds of the world have made the 0 more important than fighting great opposition.

I'm considering subscribing, what do you guys think who've subscribed. Was it worth the money? or would it be better to just try and find the fights online?

Of course there's a middle ground! If a fighter is stopped before he's even hurt then its a poor stoppage. **** all to do with the 19th century

The Chisora-Helenius + Cotto-Marg card was worth the £10 imo

I hope the channel is a success & I'm happy to support it.

This. But I certainly wouldn't sign up again yet. Unless you want to watch Burns/Katsidis every other night..

No it is not. There is no middle ground in safety, this is the 21st Century. The ONLY poor stoppage, is a stoppage that is one or more punches too late.

That sort of **** goes on in the general I'm guessing, which is why I keep a safe distance. Stupid **** like that kills the sport.

It's like everyone in boxing hates the sport - promoters, fans, fighters etc Its like everyone involved wants to do everything they can which is detrimental to the success of the sport.

Boxing needs a couple of mavericks to lead it in the right direction.

It won't happen though, all looking after number 1

As its basically a boxing channel and only Fwanks fighters and **** match ups it will be and is showing repeats over and over and over and over and over again.

I cant see the channel working so Im not signing up for it until it proves me wrong and then I'll subscribe...why subscribe to soemthing that has already failed to delvier what it initally promised and has never been done before?

They need more time to develop the channel without using punters cash!

Not wanting to start another thread on the subject, I thought I put this in here. Sorry about the quality, but it still just about readable.

Anyway it is an editorial from the late great Harry Mullan, from the 1st March 1996 edition of Boxing News. In it, he talks about the coming of Pay Per View in the UK, and it has a lot of points that ring true to many of you, without the advantage of 15 years of hindsight:

Good call on the fighter development problem from Mullan, years before it happened.

The other article on that page about poor commentating has a Groundhog Day feel about it....
