I kinda like Fury as a personality, but as a fighter, the truth is he hasn't done much. You can blame it on being in a weak era or being manic depressive (bi polar if you prefer) or having a rough childhood or whatever. It is what it is. Wins over Wilder and Wlad (especially old Wlad) =/= ATG or P4P anything.

What else was he gonna say, it wasn’t even a close fight, he got humiliated and outclassed!

    AJ is shooting blanks now

The problem is so many guys on here are jealous idiots. You don’t become 2 time unified heavyweight champion of the world if you are crap. Yes I have always felt there are issues with his trainer Robert McCracken at this level and Usyk is brilliant. We know AJ will take the rematch and good luck to him.

He did the same when he lost to Ruiz. If you want to know what else he could say see Wilder’s reactions when he lost to Fury.

Joshua took his defeat very well.

He's no bit*h, accepted it fully and shows willingness to go away train and try to come back better.

    Fair play big man

    What a crock of ****.

I mean, I am not against the idea that Fury or Usyk beat AJ, but Ruiz? He has quick hands, but he's a static fighter. The most likely outcome is that he gets jabbed to a UD again.

Wilder, again, people stupidly over react to crap like this. Usyk is literally the opposite of Wilder.

Wilder could tag AJ, but if AJ starts unloading on Wilder, history shows that Wilder has nothing to counter up close and personal encounters.

At the end of the day it's quicker fighters that trouble AJ, Wilder has one weapon. AJ has already fought someone similar to Wilder in Wlad, and has taken a strong straight right and survived.

I believe AJ has done more to prove himself above Wilder.

AJ can literally do nothing to please some people. You are very stupid. If he complains or makes excuses, he's a ****, if he admits defeat like a man, people say "what else is he going to do", "what am I gonna give him credit for doing what he's supposed to do".

Give any boxer credit for admitting defeat, and not being a ***** like Wilder and making excuses.

While I can see your point of view, this is boxing and the reality often falls short of fan expectations. Joshua showed more self belief and ambition than most champions, when guys like him, De La Hoya, Pac etc show up and just look to make big fight after big fight, win or lose we should appreciate that kind of warrior mentality because the majority of champions quite frankly are not like this.

Wilder never wanted to unify vs Wlad in the first place and had Haymon got his way with the WBC it would of been Wilder/Martin instead of Joshua/Martin and we would of had Wilder as unified champion ducking everyone with a pulse who wasn't signed to Haymon.

Maybe you should look at a @nurological post from the other day.

He was pointing out old posts I made having a pop at Fury, quite a few of them to be honest, from how boring the Wlad fight was (and Fury won that convincingly).. and it was a boring fight, the rbr was incredibly funny to just general ones about me picking Wilder to bang Fury out.. TWICE.

So, you saying I praise Fury and Wilder for NOTHING is so far from any reality it's embarrassing.
    So you're wrong.

I slaughter everybody, even my favourite fighters if I believe they deserve it.

Yeah yeah, whatever, sure... everybody is ducking AJ, a man that got smacked silly by a little fat bloke and then got touched up and embarrassed in his own backyard by a career crusierweight.

Incredible though that Fury and Wider will manage to fight 3 times yet AJ and Hearn couldn't manage to get anything done.. I thought said Hearn he would make offers they couldn't refuse.

EDDIE "ANY DAY NOW" HEARN... yeah whatever, you keep watching those IFL Eddie interviews with Koogs and lapping it up.

And as for a negotiation tactic saying he'd drop the belt.. you are completely wrong, firstly Usyk was a mandatory, THEY HAD NO CHOICE.

It was either drop the belt and Usyk gets a shot or fight Usyk and Usyk still get shot a shot, so how is that negotiating? Money? Was never about money with Usyk, it was about the belt.

In fact Usyks team were ready to take legal action if they were denied a shot, so they were getting a shot at that title regardless.

And NO, AJ couldn't fight voluntarily after voluntarily, you can't hold 3 different main belts and never fight a mandatory.

Wilder not fighting mandatory challengers is a disgrace, nobody is saying that's OK, actually we have all slaughtered the WBC for not giving Whyte a shot.

But the idea we have to praise AJ for fighting OLD MAN Povetkin, OLD MAN Wlad, OLD MAN Pulev.. losing to a small fat bloke and career cruiserweight.. are you serious?

If you want to praise that then fine, but I think AJ has done the bare minimum what's expected in these circumstances.

Anyway, the reality is AJ was exposed at the weekend for what he is, a good athlete, a big good athlete, he isn't this master boxer, he isn't a huge puncher, he is just good, he isn't great and won't be great.

AJ is lucky he wasn't around in the 90's he wouldn't have even got a title shot.

    - My ring walk was too long, I was gassed before I entered the ring
    - Usyks Russian friends spiked my water. I saw Putin in his changing room.
    - Eddie Hearn and McCracken conspired against me. They gave me the wrong information.
    - I had an injury in camp.
    - I had personal issues and distractions outside the ring.
    - He tampered with his gloves.

Imagine how ****ing farfetched that would be.

    Welcome to ESB.

    These same posters who
    - praise Wilder for saying he wants to kill someone in the ring
    - excuse Canelo's PED use
    - believe that Wilders suit was the sole reason he lost to Fury
    or was it the gloves...
or was it his team spiking his water...
or was it his team working with the other corner?

    I forget.

Or is it the fact that Joshua isn't American?
