If he beats mayweather, it all depends on how he beats him if he does. If he beats him down the ****er should seriously think about going for lineal MW and That elusive top 5 P4P ATG spot.

I thought cotto had a chance but pac suprised me with his total dominace of cotto. I dont get it when ppl say he was in a war with cotto, it looked like a one sided beat down from pac. Neither fighter will have an excuse come fight night.

Pac is top fighter. much respect. But if he was Floyd u guys would pick his resume apart and I dont see why he should be immune from that. But let's analyze using the same logic as Floyd hater.

Pac got his ass beat by Marquez twice. he got lucky decisions. (This is the same **** u hear about Floyd/Castillo)

Pac feasted on old, past prime legends, like Morrales, who beat him, and Barrerra.

Pac fought a severly weight drained DLH who 1) at already had been beaten by Floyd at his more natural weight of 154

    2) DLH was so weight drained that he was the smaller man. Pac weighed 148 to DLH's 147.

    3) Pac knocked out Hatton after Hatton had already been knocked out Floyd.

    3) Cotto was a good win to me, but Pac kinda tarnished by forcing a cathcweight of 145. Did it make a difference? Probably not. But you can't fight for title and then demand that the other guy can't come in at the limit. It wasn't a true WW fight.

MADPROPS to Pacquiao. Guys a freak. And much more importantly, a savior to our sport. Recognize, haters^...^

You can make a million weak excuses but the fact of the matter is no boxer (like DLH or Cotto) is going to take a fight with such a dangerous opponent if they don't feel comfortable doing so. So making excuses like DLH was weight drained or Cotto was at a disadvantage weight-wise, has NO merit. The fighter's made the decision and knew waht they were getting into. It's not like they were forced to sign a death warrant. And the arguement about how Pac doesn't deserve credit for knocking Hatton out because he was already knocked out by Floyd is just ****ing laughable. Manny KNOCKED him the **** out, Floyd caught him, dazed him, and finished the job. In NO WAY did that 'ruin' Hatton at all. Pacquiao probably did though. It was a showcase of his superior power, speed and timing. Floyd had nothing to do with it. lol

this thread has nothing to do with floyd... you should make a mayweather appreciation thread of your own.

    Especially when...

Hatton - He gets A class props for B- class competition
DLH - He weight drains competition to where they need IVs to recover from making weight.
Cotto - His promoter robs Clottey and he chooses to fight shot fighters with shot corners.
Mayweather - When his bluff is called he chickens out and his promoter has to fly to him personally instead of using a phone and a fax machine like every other fight.

Then again, *******s don't follow boxing in general so they don't know anything other than what is going on in *******ia. :bart

Even if he did beat floyd I can hear the hate now.

Floyd was past his prime and shot, and inactive, pacquiao waited till he was just past it to challenge him and only took the fight because he knew he would win.

No I will give him full credit. If he takes out Mayweather there are no questions of his greatness. I still think it was a hype machine leading up to it, but I will give his props.

Anyway, I am not against Manny as I am amazed by the ignorance and history revision ability of his fans. These "fans" are blaming Mayweather for the March 13th date when Team Pac were the ones to drop that date! Now he is slow to sign? He went from a "drained ear to prevent cauliflower ear" to "busted ear drum". How the hell did he sing with a busted ear drum, but can't hit bags? The bandaging was on his OUTER upper ear. It is all smoke and mirrors. When FMJ calls his bluff he chokes. This is the SECOND time he ducked too.

This crap has made me grow to HATE *******s!
