And if nothing else it would be excellent advertising for the company, to have caught a star like Floyd.it would cement them as the best testing agency in sports.

if youre under this, youre basically immune to anything.

that's what pedweather is paying usada 100k for.

think about peterson's case when he was busted by vada. he was trying to pass it as him using the drug to cure his illness or something.

but he did not have necessary papers to back up his claim. meaning he should notify vada taht he is undergoing therapy and using drugs that may appear in the banned list, prior to enrolling to vada. though it is not guaranteed vada would exempt him (im not sure vada has the same therapeutic process exemption usada has).
floyd has that guarantee, i mean, he has that 100k guarantees.


this is similar to chael sonnen's case in ufc too.

dana or sonnen himself, iirc, was saying chael wasnt busted bec of drug use but because he didnt have the necessay papers to back up his claim of therapeutic use.


so technically, usada isnt doing illegal. but rumors of floyd's testing positive isnt far fetched. usada's move to block the subpoena to release his medical/drug testing lab readings didnt help his cause.

edit: regarding usada's reputation. they are not mandated to do anything in professional boxing (they are just subcontractor, doing additional test on top of state commision's) , that's the state commissions job.
