The sad thing is that when someone says something on the internet about some wealthy person's finances, you don't even know what you're looking at, where it comes from or what it means. You're like a 5 year old child.

If you followed reality, that is the reason why the first fight never happened. All pac had to do was role up his sleeve but he walked away to fight Clottey and than years later wanted the same deal from 09 . . . Pac now says he will fight for free (turning down 40 mill in 2012) then signs to fight bradley . . . i see a pattern here.

 

Compared to you, yes. But the difference is that I need to see good evidence before I believe something. You just hear someone say something, have no idea if it's reliable, and you run with it.

Notice that I have never said I know what Manny's financial situation is. I need to see reliable evidence. Maybe you didn't notice that the Filipino newspaper that has been reporting that Arum is ripping off Manny is an opposition newspaper that opposes Manny's party. And that the story it ran was so self-contradictory and poorly sourced that it would never have run in a reputable newspaper. When I see that, I know it's probably a politically motivated attack job, and I need to see better evidence before I believe what they say. And in fact, the story has never been picked up by a reputable newspaper.

As far as tax problems go, I also can't say. Rich people with complicated finances have arguments with the tax authorities all the time. That is why they have accountants and tax lawyers handling their finances for them. When Manny gets convicted of tax evasion, let me know and there will be something to talk about.

Did I think that Pac of that time would be a legend? One word, yes. The way he move and fight was extra ordinary. His fights were always exciting weather he's losing or win. :deal

 

Pac was an incredible fighter during his prime. His losses during his prime can be explained by 2 of his main weaknesses:

1. He gets demoralized once he gets cut. Check out his losses to Sanchez and Morales (although the blood test 2 days before the fight also affected him). Also in the 1st 2 Marquez fights, Pac started to look like a zombie after he sustained cuts.

2. His jaw was never really that great. His ability to take punches had to do with his superb conditioning which means his jaw per se is not all that naturally tough. He gets hurt easily, it is just that he recovers fast because of good blood circulation because of his excellent conditioning and great reflexes. These 2 things enable the body to quickly prepare and react before a punch lands. However once he gets hit with hard punches he didn't see, he gets hurt. That's what happened against Nedal Hussein and Marquez (4th fight)

Guys with iron jaws are Chuvalo, Ali, Mccall, Morales, hagler. These guys could take hard punch and not easily get hurt.

Pac has been cheating for years, taxes pile up when you cheat for YEARS. Heck he's been cheating since 1996 all the way back to Torrecampo. The BIR better go waaaay back, who knows when that little cheat started. Once a cheat, always a cheat.
