Name one other HW in the world who would've one shot head hitting the canvas laid Pulev out cold like that?

 

CW and nope we cannot say that yet. Pulev is 253lbs, very tough and durable, and had only been stopped x 2 in his career and that was by Wlad and AJ both extremely powerful massive HWs. Let's see Jai up at HW and how effective his power against world class opponents is first.

 

Gassiev is shot to bits but his power is very much legit and if he catches any HW clean like that with a perfectly timed full power left hook very few are going to remain vertical

Fact of the matter is Gassiev has always had one of the most devastating left hooks in the game if not the most devastating

Boom! One shot. Timber! Head bouncing off the canvas. Pulev might be 44 y/o but he has a massive bolder-sized head, a short neck, and he's tough and durable. Some of the top HWs would have knocked him out or stopped him too but how many in this fashion?

I'm not questioning whether Jai's power will translate at HW or not I'm questioning whether it will translate enough for him to be able to one punch KO a 253lb durable world class HW with a boulder-sized noggin like Pulev or not in that fashion.

Obviously Gassiev is a former CW

As you say, so was Haye and he did indeed KO Chisora in HL reel fashion but not with one shot like that

As said, some of the top HWs would've knocked Pulev out or stopped him too but very few in that fashion and I'm talking about current HWs

 

Pulev had been softened up and dropped x 2 prior to the finish vs AJ and he was a stone lighter than he was vs Gassiev

The only fighter I've seen drop Pulev like that was Wlad, also with a devastating left hook

Yes, obviously they both fought much younger and better versions of Pulev but Gassiev, whilst way younger, is a shell of his former self, and I'm a big believer in the longevity of these HWs with massive boulder noggins and short necks because they often have very thick craniums. Longevity as in their ability to take a shot.

Chisora has been in more wars than an army but he's still very durable even at 41

Even Wach despite having being stopped a bunch of times is still durable in his mid 40s

Pulev 44 y/o and way past his best but he's still durable and I think that shot would had the same effect vs a much younger version. It was a massive perfectly timed left hook. You know those are KO shots the instant they land. We've all been watching this sport long enough to know a KO shot when we see them. Bad things happen when you get caught clean with a perfectly timed left hook from a massive puncher like that

 

It's hardly a secret that Gassiev has knocked out numerous top 20 HWs in the gym
