The fight that put Danny back on the map was the Sean O'Grady fight. O'Grady was a handsome, undefeated, fan favorite with a huge KO ratio, but his resume' read like "who the **** is this guy" and "who the **** is that guy." Sound familiar?

All I see are the "Carl Who?" avatars popping up again.

Boo, AA won't win a decision against Taylor and even if there are some doubtful decisions here in Germany from time to time, there's no way that such a **** will happen in a tournament of this caliber. By the way, this **** is happens all over the world and definitely also in the US.

I really hope you're right about this. A couple of controversial decisions would really screw this tournament up.

how fun was lopez to watch!?!? god that man could scrap. i hear ya boo, i know that taylor still has it. whether he chooses to use it is up to him i suppose. but i know he's got one more run left in him. it would be so sweet to see him at the end of the day, after all the near misses he's had and all the people w/ their "what ifs," walking away into the sunset w/ this super six crown on his head.

man i understand where you are coming from. but i just think that if the jermain who fought bhop...the jermain that almost stopped pav...the jermain that for the first 6 rounds of the froch fight looked very good can show up for all 12 rounds in his tourney fights, he can make some noise. can he do that?? well see.

Yeh i get you, and for the record even as a Brit i was hoping JT would have survived that last round against Froch (i am a Froch fan too though) he seems like a down to earth guy and im always wrooting for him when he fights, if only hed have had a worriors heart he could have been somthing special or maby even have just not lost concentration

It's a concern, but I think Jermaine is most likely to win by a knockout. (I hope so at least)

can't argue with you there. he seems so prone to mental lapses. you would think that as you got older that would change but instead he seemed more focused in the ring when he was younger

I agree that it might be possible for JT to stop AA, but I don't think that is the most likely outcome. He'll probably go in looking to box and move for 12 rounds. I just wish he would dump Ozell Nelson, or at least get a good second, maybe Diaz or Jackson.

Ozell would be OK if he had a good conditioning coach.....

i hear ya herm, he needs to be able to go 12 in all these tourney fights. ive looked at a lot of jt's old fights lately and he had those same fidgety movements even back then. you would think if ozell can teach him to just stop swatting at his forehead and not shoot his load on nervous energy at the beginning of the fight, he may not need to improve on his stamina. goodness gracious he has more wasted motion...

edit to note that...then again...you get someone worryin' too much about what not to do they may stop rememberin' what they are supposed to do...so who the **** knows.

From ESB Homepage bit on JT/AA: :happy:happy:happy:bbb:bbb:bbb

"It was time for a change from Miami. I got to comfortable and there can be a lot of distractions in Miami. I like the training environment here in Houston. The gym is located in a very remote part of Houston which allows total focus and commitment," said Taylor. "Things have been very intense and serious in camp. Everyone is working hard. There's going to be a lot of focus on the 10th, 11th, 12th round if the fight should go that far. Those are the rounds I usually get tired. I will be prepared to make sure I have the last few rounds under control."

This is great news if he really is focusing heavily on his ability to finish a fight.
