I can not stand him but you can not say Brown was his best win...that is nonsense when he has Parker on his CV

edit: Just seen you addressed this earlier

Like many fighters goes from slightly overrated to underrated depending on what he did recently and the bias that most of us have.
Considering that he got iced by a 40+ Pov, he's rated about where he should be - top 10, but not top 5. And I've said this in another thread - he shouldn't get much credit if he beats a past it Pov recovering from a bad flu.

I'd like to see Dillian vs Wilder, Parker II, Ruiz, or one of the up and coming HWs. But these days HWs talk about what they're going to do more than fighting.

When all is said and done, there's more said than done - a 2020s HW

Eddie Hearn is by far the best promoter in the world, I can’t think of anyone else who could make the likes of Bellew and Whyte into PPV fighters.

Whyte is fat and crap, he has a half decent left hook and that’s it. I would like to see him fight wilder though as I think it would be an entertaining fight. You would either see Wilder getting roughed up and stopped or Whyte getting knocked out. Either outcome would be fine with me.

Not sure he beats Wilder. If anything more likely Beyoncé puts him to sleep.

I always envisioned whyte to go to brooklyn and knock wilder out with a hook like he did with chisora but the wbc knew it and protected wilder.

Not the best technically but takes tough fights and is good to watch.

Yep that was his only moment in that fight. I remember that AJ was close to stopping Whyte in the first round he had Whyte hurt and you could see AJ was smiling enjoying beating Whyte up for all the trash he had talked.

Fury would do a more devastating job on Whyte than he did Chisora..

Whyte is very static and likes to outbox, he is mostly dangerous when opponents press onto him.

    and he gases

    he's just a big lump

Whyte doesn't have the chin of Chisora I reckon Fury drops Whyte multiple times before stopping him.

Not really understanding the stick being directed towards Whyte.

He's jumped in there with AJ, Parker, Chisora x2, Rivas, Helenius, Povetkin

More than what can be said for most heavyweights nowadays

These guys are pathetic man. Whyte is clearly not the most skilled guy but he's fought all those guys mentioned. His resume is one of the best at HW, certainly better than Wilders (50 Yr old Ortiz, fat coked up Fury) and Furys (39 yo clinchko and a walking right hand, wow so impressive). Wonder when Fury and Wilder will face decent guys that are young

Maybe he might be rated in top 5 but not top 3.
Like this. Povetkin, if landed properly, is capable to handle out concussion to anyone.
    If landed.
Of course Povetkin was out of prime even in fight before this fight vs A.J. Already over the hill.
Prime Povetkin lost only to Wlad's younger version than A.J and Fury had in the ring.

    Of course I agree.
If he had beated up 34-35 years old Povetkin, this was different conversation.
38-40 y.o Povetkin had nothing to offer for his own 34-35 y.o version.
Now this Covid and 41 y.o Povetkin after covid.
Don't think he might beat his own pre covid version.

Whyte is a bit overrated but before he got tagged by Povetkin he'd given a note perfect performance. All he had to was close the show but he forgot he was facing an elite level opponent who was hurt but still dangerous. Bad mistake but also a lesson.

The biggest problem that he did not hurt Povetkin. If guy is down, this not always means that he is seriously hurt.
Povetkin for sure long ago is out of prime and still he is smart, will not stand and take all punch power to prove anything. Better is to fall while absorbing less power.

Pov " re automated " Whyte's defense mechanism with intent to sneak in uppercut and achieved his goal.

Yeah, Pov is elite, out of prime and still experience does not die.
34-35-36 y.o Pov was different. Later he was out of prime.
