    pre-fight
    • Hatton: 'I look at Manny and I think, 'Why should I worry about his power, he's not big enough to hold me off'
    • 'you saw the more tehnical side of Ricky Hatton last time out, but ultimately it's going to be the old Ricky that wins this one'
    • 'it's the same every time from Manny.....move around, left hook and lean down...he won't catch me with that'
    • "Filipino reporters keep asking me, 'How are you going to deal with Manny's power?' and I just say '**** off'
    • 'Mayweather was a master of defence, a counter-puncher. He'd set traps for you and he was a damn sight bigger than me. Manny's different, he comes for you, and I'm bigger than him. He'll be thinking, 'Jesus, this is going to be tough. This fella doesn't leave you alone'
    • I'm surprised his trainer, Freddie Roach, says he'll knock me out in three rounds. It certainly doesn't make me **** me pants. I'm so confident for this fight, it's unreal. Remortgage the house and put it all on me."
    • "I've never gone along with all that celebrity bollocks. I've no airs and graces and you'll always get a straight answer out of me. Look, I'm not saying I'm the best fighter who ever lived, but if I could be remembered as one of the best, well, that'll do me. I'd be very, very content with that."
    fight time
Hatton walks in to some new song, with lyrics changed to glorify himself and his 'jack-the-lad lifestyle'..typically self-absorbed stuff. Pacman walks in with a smile on his face, acknowledging his fellow Pinoys as he walks to the ring.

    round 1
Hatton goes down twice and takes a beating.

    round 2
Hatton gets sparked out cold with a 'move around, left hook and lean down'...or as Ray Hatton later put it 'he was just throwing wild shots'
    :lol::lol::lol: aye right then.

I suppose this is the kind of series of events that can happen when you get too big for your boots and start believing your own hype. That's the lesson we should all bear in mind from that night.

Yes we all know what happened. We all know you don't like the Hattons. Move on or get physciatric help.

In all honesty what are you trying to achieve here? Your post doesn't invite converstaion or debate. You haven't asked for opinions or raised any questions.

If writing it down makes you feel better then good for you, but please buy a diary or open a blog, don't flood a good forum.

ever in the history of sport has someone give in the Billy Big Bollocks routine and talked so much, only to do so little when it counted?
That's the point i'm making.....there's no upside to all the talk...it can ONLY make you look a fool when things go wrong.

Erm, James Toney against Roy Jones?

  11. And was Tyson really going to **** Lewis until Lennox loved him

Do you not watch boxing, every boxer bigs himself up before a bout....... what do you expect someone to say

"Well ummmmm I'm not to sure what to expect, hopefully he won't knock me out, and I might snatch a SD if i'm lucky" :patsch
