He wasn't robbed in either. The first fight was a draw and the second a close win for Hopkins IMO.

But what was really ridiculous is that Duane Ford gave the 12th round to Taylor in the first fight.

If Ford had given it to Hopkins like 99.999% of people who saw it, then Hopkins would've retained his title via a split draw.

Hopkins was robbed in both fights. It was ten times worse than what Hagler fans claim happened against Sugar Ray Leonard except this robbery is for real. . . and happened twice.

Hopkins won the first fight. Close but he won. There shouldn't have been a second one. I felt it was a draw anyways.

i scored 115-113 for hopkins. he was landing cleaner punches, and it may look as if taylor was outjabbing him and was busier but nard was more effective and he was actually outboxing JT.

i believe nard won the first fight

I like how there is 7 different ways to vote for YES, yet only one to vote for NO.

Gee Dec, trying in influence the voting a bit??? Even with the bs way of voting, its still the majority of people feeling he won at least 1 of those fights...so.

(at the time of this post its 53 - 38 )

I also notice that 99% of the people saying he lost both fights are people picking Calzaghe or people who outright HATE Hopkins on a regular basis. Click on veiw results and go check out most of their posts (tho there are some respected posters on there, which I have NO PROBLEM WITH)....no credability at all.

In the 1st fight, it was very close but if I was to pick a winner, I think it should be Hopkins.

But the 2nd fight, I thought Taylor narrowly won.

Hopkins won both fights, particularly the first. If it wasn't for his unpopularity with the boxing establishment, and the influence of HBO in pushing Taylor, Hopkins would've gotten the nod in both fights. That may or may not be a "robbery" but it's certainly unfair, and bad for the sport.
