**** the scorecards...the real question should be how can a man who is 7' tall and weighing 320lbs be so featherfisted and passive, the man should be a complete wrecking machine

There was no rational way to score that fight for Valuev. He looked like he was walking in quicksand, and he barely threw any punches. If you score every close round for Valuev, it was 115-113 Holyfield. Holyfield himself mostly just danced around and ran around the ring, but at least he occasionally popped out with a combo, and he certainly landed the more meaningful punches.

this is what I don't like about esb. People not even having seen the fight and talking out of there ass. Yeah, I had it 115 -113 Evander too, but so many rounds consisted off nothing but inactivity. Some rounds like the 4th or 5th were almost impossible to score. This was a shitty fight that could have gone either way and the bonus of the champion prevailed...and now stop crying.

Even Big V's corner thought he lost, the comments in between 11 & 12 as well as the comments after the fight before the cards were revealed showed they were concerned. Horrible day for boxing, its decisions like this that make many people not like the sport. It was a boring fight, but Holy threw less and landed more punches. Holy had the ring generalship also, Big V just plodded around following him throwing the jab (that wasn't landing) for 80% of the fight.
BTW I scored it 116-112 for Holy

1-4: I wanted to gouge my eyes out, but avoided this by focusing instead on titties.
5-7: Nearly fell into a trance from watching a bout only mildly more interesting than watching a garden grow in real time.
8-12: Fed up, I instead decided to cook some soup for dinner which turns out to be the smartest thing I've done all day. This fight TKO 8 me.

No word yet on the official scores at the time of the stoppage.

Again, I'll just come out and say it, in about a half dozen rounds I don't think Valuev even landed a SINGLE punch.

I really want to see the punch stats, I don't think either guy busted double digits in landed shots a round. I don't think Valuev landed more than 5 in a single round.

Well Lewis fought Holyfield in Vegas and got a draw instead of a clear win, so that last statement wouldn't necessarily be true.

    Round 11 Valuev

One of Valuevs Team members said after the 11th round: Come on, you have got to knock this guy out.
