Baz Carey- should be a good match he always comes to win and i've been out for a while so he prob fancies his chances.
Like I said i'm not saying either of you are right or wrong (who am i to judge anyway)just that I thought that last post was a bit naughty- however your correct in the fact that its difficult to project the context in which something is said on here- I seem to have upset some people in my time without ever really meaning too (with the odd exception). Flux you should get back to what your best at which is making intelligent debate about boxing issues and Rach you are definately welcome on this forum as is anybody who conducts themselves in a reasonable manner and is interested in both giving and recieving information which is why we're all here! IMO anyway.
i'v seen him fight before, he got beat but most people around me thought he won. What are your plans long term? are you looking to fight again after this?
Amir Khan fought him as did Andrew Ferrans, he is poor but he works hard and gives everyone a good fight.
Well i'm not sure he's paid that much attention to my career since he beat me but he's going to be fighting a completely different animal on the 16th feb.
Sorry to ask so many questions in the "let's hear it for the ladies" thread Jeff but is your athsma under control now? I seem to remember you suffered some breathing problems during the last fight with Carey unless I'm mistaken.
Yeah I did... But I think that was as much to do with poor preperation as anything else- this time I've done everything perfect.:good
Because I boxed in a more ******ed way then he did. I was awful but a fair few thought I was unlucky which is testimony to the difference in our boxing ability because I was operating at about 10% no joke.
His boxing skill is 0 but he works hard and is a tough man so he becomes a handful for anyone unprepared or lazy.
Aye, Baz is a hard man. He used to be renowned for being a handful on the streets a few years back. He claims his recent poor form is down to the fact he's had a bad shoulder for the last couple of years, and i did see him fight Billy Smith for the Midland Area title with only one good arm. He say's he's just had it fixed and is raring to win again. I don't think he'll beat Jeff this time, however. One thing is for sure with Baz: he won't stop coming forward.
