The consensus opinion is pretty much that Wladimir is going to take care of business against Fury. But let's imagine for a second that Tyson comes out on top. How can he pull off the upset, and how likely do you think that result might be?

If he tries to brawl with him instead of box with him and put pressure on him.

Basically what povetkin tried to do. But in this case he won't be too shor and Wlad won't be able to lean on him coming in.

Furys height and ability to brawl are two things which COULD trouble klitchko.

Anybody else think that Fury might be able to use his extra weight / height to turn the clinch against Wlad? That could be interesting if it happened. He might be able to force Wlad to fight him without clinching ...

Fury will need two friends to help him beat Wlad-Smith&Wesson.

I remember a really strong determined guy who held his left hand out a bit so he could out jab Wlad and kept pounding Wlad in the clinches. Poor Wlad was pretty much reduced to just throwing one hard punch at a time. The fighters name was Pulev, I do believe 😜
People always talk about how they're going to "Make him fight!", but they sure don't like the result when their plan actually works.

he can either take the fight to WK or go on his bike. I suspect the bike route despite the bravado.

Personally, I can see Tyson Fury going crazy everytime Wlad is trying to clinch him. As Klitschko got used to ending his attacks with clinch, Fury will try to outbrawl him, through him down on the canvas, talking.. anything. If he doesn't get himself DQ (I can think it as a possible outcome), he would make Klitschko unwilling to initiate clinches, what would make Wlad vulnerable. Also, Fury has chances to outbox Wlad from the outside, as he has longer reach, solid jab and improved footwork.

I want to say that I was Wlad's fan since my very childhood and I'll be definetely rooting for him. However, I really think that Fury is very underrated (mostly due to his behaviour). IMO, he has all the tools to win the fight, and I'm sure that is going to be tough night for Klitschko.

How Fury can beat Wlad is no mystery. Wlad does not have a great chin. Fury needs to catch him with a big hook and finish the business. I just don't see that happening though. He seems quite intimidated by Wlad and I suspect it won't be long before he gets knocked out - which is a pity as he is one of the most entertaining guys in boxing, not in the ring perhaps but certainly off the ring. I imagine he will retire following a devastating knock out. He could stay if the fight ends with a close and controversial decision on the cards and I hope that's what happens.

He has to uncork his inner check jab and throw it until Wlad is unconscious.

He needs to dominate the distance and the rules of the fight.

He can win if he is able to get into range off the back of Wlad's jab and land. This is difficult because Wlad always clinches his opponents rather than be open on the inside.

I am sure David Haye had the same idea when he fought Wlad...but he was a CW and Fury is a genuine HW.

It all depends on whether Fury can land on the inside and counter Wlads jab. If he can be is in with a chance.
