I'll bet we could print out some of your comments and get Taylor to agree to put your chin to the test with some of his shots......

All thing considered, more people have said this about Calzaghe than Taylor.

As of right now the 3 opponents who scored knock downs against Pavlik have a combined 113 fights with 65 knockouts. The biggest puncher among them was Fulgencio Zuniga. 17 of his 20 wins have come inside the distance. He nailed Pavlik right on the button with a nasty left hook. Pavlik's ass hit the canvass like somebody hit him with an ax handle, and he slid a good 3 feet across the ring. He was up at about a count of 2 or 3, and went on to stop Zuniga in 9 rounds.

The knock down against McKart was a joke as far as knock downs go. Even Bronco said there wasn't much to it. Pavlik was moving away from a punch that ended up catching him flush on the shoulder when he was off balance. Kelly's gloves brushed the canvass, and the ref correctly ruled it a knock down, but Pavlik was never actually down, or in any way hurt against McKart.

The knock down against JT came from the accumulation of 8 flush shots, and 7 that landed but not flush. The oddest part of that deal was that Kelly was hurt, but not seriously hurt until he stuck out his chin to prove he wasn't hurt! Pavlik was up at the count of 2, and in the very next round handed Taylor an ass whoopin' I was seriously impressed to see JT survive!

Miranda won his first 21 fights by KO, and he is still the only guy who ever stopped Eastman. Pavlik ate his best shots like they were ****ing Skittles!

There is nothing wrong with Kelly's chin. To say that he is chinny just reveals a fundamental lack of boxing knowledge. He reminds me a lot of Danny "Little Red" Lopez. Like Lopez, Pavlik sometimes throws defense out the window in favor of maintaining agression and a high punch output. Also like Lopez, even at his best his defense is a bit leaky, and he seems to have some balance issues. Thus he has been down a few times. However, if being knocked down meant you had a weak chin, that would mean that Roberto Duran, Alexis Argeullo, and Rocky Marciano were all "chinny." Would anyone in their right mind make that claim?

Pavlik has a good chin, it's not iron but it's definately not glass.
