I'm a huge Fury fan and gave him the fight 115-111, but I'm not a professional judge. We only have the camera angle on tv, judges are ringside for a reason. But the fact that if Tyson would have stayed on his feet in the last round he would have come home with the belt. The British judge had it 113-113 had Tyson not been knocked down it would have been 115-114 to Tyson and he would be WBC champ. Credit where credit is due the fight was exellent and I really hope for rematch. Just hope Tyson isn't to disheartened by the decision and hope Wilder isn't to scared of the Gypsy King that he ducks the rematch to continue feasting on cans. Both fighters proved they are elite level along with AJ and fights between the 3 need to be made for us the fans (and for their own bank balances, each one of these fights will now do mega money), and let all the rest of the dossers fight on the undercards against each other as lets be fair the rest of the top 10 are levels below the top 3.
Cool so because the British judge had it level that mean 115-111 Wilder is acceptable. Good facts bro!
I think his point is Ben Davison gave him (correct and) clear instructions what to do in the 12th, he’s went out and ignored it and it’s cost him.
I can’t remember but it was basically just go out there and keep it sensible, minimal risks, lean on him and wear him down and see the round out. Even after Fury got dropped he got up and was putting his hands behind his back! His camp must’ve been having kittens haha.
I think when Fury watches it back he will realise he messed up. He just had to win that 12th but was clowning.
Not a robbery. Probably the right result. BT Sport card had him 6-2 up after 8 (I agree). Two 10-8s in the 9th and 12th even it up. So you've got two rounds to work with. Giving them both to wilder would be wrong, but 1-1 or 2-0 Tyson is ok. So a draw or narrow Tyson victory was the right result. The Mexicans card was horribly wrong, but overall the draw is probably OK.
