Sure I'd like to see it. At this point Steve is faster than Tarver, but has the weaker chin. Would make for an exciting fight that I'd pay to see.

tarver ain't interested. . he's going to hw after this, and only wants big money fights (particularly the klitschkos. . haye, and povetkin also).

ive been talking to him on fb chat, and that's what he told me.

but i think he's perfect at cw, and that would be an awesome fight.

    Steve might be too gone.

    I could see Tarver winning.

I like how everyone is looking past the Kayode fight. I also think Tarver will beat Kayode (I'm actually picking all the "old dogs" to win, rooting especially for Rodriguez). I know no one who's picking Kayode to win. Cunningham would be nice, but O read Tarver wants to unify the CW belts.

Tarver and Cunningham could both beat current Kayode in their 50's, blindfolded.

I'd be shocked if they got 2k or even 200 people to demand this fight.

Im definitely not looking past the Kayode fight. . Kayode is a lot more dangerous, and powerful than Danny Green, and Green hurt Tarver once, or twice. . . Kayode is a HUUUGE CW, who probably hits harder than anybody Tarver has previously faced. . But like Tarver said, power is nothing, if it doesn't land. . . I think ultimately his precision, and technique will prevail over the heavy hitter, who lacks fundamentals.

THat would be a good fight and a nice American payday for the USS Cunningham. I know steve struggles a bit with southpaws but not enough to make Traver a clear favourite. If they fought right now I think it'd be close to a pick'em fight.

I don't know. I thought he drew the fight with Hernandez and if he hadn't been knocked down twice he would have taken it. I remember than being the general concensus at the time too, Once again his chin let him down, knockdowns aside he'd have won the one with Adamek too.
