Good ol' Joe beat that oil like slickness of your black friend HOpkins, while high on coke, imagine what he could do without it.

Imagine if Tyson got an SD against Holmes, or Vitali got an SD against Lewis

    they'd be slated eternally.

But this is Calzaghes best win.

Just a DISCLAIMER Joe Calzaghe admits that he was setting a "bad example" when taking cocaine.

But getting paid to punch people is clearly ok

Froch has never been the undisputed king of the division, Froch has never held all the relevant titles in the division, Froch has never moved up to win a title at light heavyweight against the man widely recognized as that division's king.

Froch has had a very good career but his accomplishments are not at the same level that Calzaghe's were.

Yes, so we'll just ignore the fact that Calzaghe signed to fight Hopkins in 2002/2003 only for Hopkins to pull out at the last moment damanding more money. It was clearly all because Calzaghe was waiting for him to get old that Hopkins chose to price himself out of the fight. I mean, heaven forbid Hopkins be held accountable for his avoidence of real challenges prior to his long overdue step up in weight class.

Bernie ducked the re-match with Roy as well around this time... He was flat out hard to negotiate with at times. People blow it all out of proportion.. Calzaghe still fought an elite Hopkins who was the man of the 175 lb division.

That might be because apart from Froch, there is another great fighter in Ward who'se also fighting. If Froch waited until Ward was 45 then he might have accomplished the above mentioned.

Well Hopkins is still fighting and winning, like i said before, nobody gives a damn about Calzaghe.

Jermaine Taylor beat Hopkins much more convincingly and way before Calzaghe did and Dawson did a much better job way after Calzaghe did.

If Hopkins is such a win for Calzaghe, then Dawson and Taylor deserve much more credit

You must be mistaken, Joe was promising to travel to the States ever since the Brewer fight but he only found the guts after the Lacy fight and specially after the Kessler fight. That BS that he composed along with Frank W is so sick I can't even hear it anymore. Nobody would give that Welshman a shot at the Middleweight Legend if he was not a mandatory like Hakkar but specially after Hakkar and the scandal that it produced in Philly. The one and only chance Joe ever had was that time and just about. End of Story. Why did he never face Dariusz or Sven or Liles or Tim Littles, ahn?

Only one of the fighters Calzaghe beat to win all the titles at Super Middleweight was past his best and that was the still game Eubank. Lacy was in his prime, Kessler was in his prime, both lost.

Prime Froch lost to past-Prime Kessler and beat a very past-Prime Kessler in a competitive contest. As far as being a "great fighter" I doubt his level would be more than Kessler's, probably lower. Fact of the matter is Froch has never beaten a fighter at the level that Prime-Kessler was or higher, the two time he tried he lost and both times by UD.

Froch is a great fighter, I dont deny it, but he's a level below Calzaghe just like he's a level below Ward.

Froch easily could have pulled the Calzaghe route and avoided all threats until they were old, but he didnt, he faced anyone and everyone.

In some ways, Froch is the anti Calzaghe.

If Calzaghe is better than Froch because of the Kessler fight then, Danny Green is better than Calzaghe because he demolished Jones in one round

Lacy, Bika, Reid, Mitchell, Kessler were all prime or close to it when they lost to Calzaghe. Brewer, Woodhall and Eubank were past prime but still dangerous. Hopkins was past prime but still possessing of elite level skills and age has done little to dull him.

No, the point of that comment was to show that Froch hasn't beaten any fighters on the level of the Kessler Calzaghe beat, not that Calzaghe's better than Froch because he beat Kessler. If you disagree point me to which Super Middleweight that Froch beat who could be considered as good as the Kessler of 2007

Why did the Corbra lose to a semi-shot MK?
