Let's not act like Canelo is not more proven then GGG

I dont agree that Canelo would win but I'd think that its be a good fight, as for resume I think Canelos is underrated and yes its better than GGG

 

He's not more proven at 160.

 

He's also more proven to have his limitations, whereas it seems Golovkin doesn't have many.

Canelo already has 1 loss ( PBF) and 1 draw ( Lara in my book).
What do you think GGG would do to either ?

 

I don't think Canelo wins but I do think two things:

1. Canelo has fought better opposition in his respective division
2. Canelo would be Golovkin's best opponent to date.

Canelo looked like crap against his stiffest competition.

 

Golovkin's middleweight division is historically the worst 160-pound class ever.

The 154-pound scene is one of the more stylistically intriguing and glam divisions (headlined by the P4P best) in the world. Canelo and GGG are in the same tier (Top 15/20) but Alvarez deserves to rate above him.

 

Canelo is more proven. Floyd proved he was a bum.

 

"Wins" vs Trout and Lara were HIGHLY questionable. Angulo was already shot which was proven by his next fight. And Canelo looked sooooo limited against Floyd.

 

Canelo's resume is awesome for such a young guy... but as far as them actually fighting I think GGG would end up being too much for him. Canelo was rocked badly by Miguels brother... GGG has yet to be hurt that badly. Canelo needs to engage to win fights...GGG has far superior cardio and power wise... I'll be kind and say it's comparable.
