Well, I'm a little underwhelmed with Murray myself, but he's still considered one of the better fighters in the division, and more to the point is now signed with Golden Gloves - the South African promoter who has been doing the Golovkin gigs in Monte Carlo. I'm pretty much sure that the plan is to put Murray in with GGG in Monacco early next year.

Besides, despite Murrays poor and ininspiring performances against Khomitsky (Murray shoulda had a draw at best IMO) and Tetteh, he looked very solid against Bursak who I'd count as a decent scalp.

Well Mexi, the whole elephant standing in the room here is that people that keep saying Gloveking is all hype, deem nobody fit to give him a challenge in his own weightclass. Wich is one of the most prestigious also.
All hype but he should face P4P ranked fighters from a higher weightclass

If GGG blows him out in 1 or 2 rounds it will certainly be impressive. It isn't like there is a huge line of guys willing to fight GGG anyway. The risk/reward/pay just isn't there for it. I think eventually we will see GGG in a big fight. Until then lets all just keep saying how much he sucks etc. :rofl:patsch

The guy is an exciting fighter. What is hilarious is the same people on here that praise Rigo will bash GGG. What kind of logic is that?

Geale is a top middleweight contender in a weak division. He isn't great but he's a solid win.

People want Golovkin to make that final step up and beat an elite fighter. To do that he'll have to look outside his division. But in the mean time fights with Cotto, Soliman and Quillin will do. Better he cleans out his division first and perhaps beat the winner of Canelo/Lara if they are willing to move up.

Geale is the best opponent out there - that would take the fight.

In triple G's division, Geale is the next best down, it is a logical fight.
And.. I think it goes the distance, Geale is a smart fight.

I see it was mentioned above that a faded Mundine dropped Geale - that is true, however Geale absolutely embarrassed Mundine, it was a one sided schooling. I felt sorry for Mundine in their second fight.

GGG Vs Geale is a very competitive fight and it will go the distance.

Geale-Adama wasn't close. I watched the full fight. It was a 9-3 kind of bout.

Ironically, it's his detractors that again show they rate him the highest. Geale is the legit #2 contender in the division and they're already expecting a blowout.

The old adage is true- you know you've arrived in boxing when people quit making excuses for you performing poorly and start making them for your opponents.

Froch said it in his face to face with Groves.

I mean he said everything but he would drop his title if it meant fighting Golovkin.
Groves took that as a sign of weakness....his eyes lit up anticipating answering the question and trumping Froch.

Too bad for Groves, Froch btfoh and showed him who's boss.:yep:yep:yep

A bit of hyperbole, but at least it got someone to read my post instead of skimming through the same "Geale's been exposed nonsense."
