It was Maidana's 1st fight on 147 and dirty Alexander grabed him 125 times during the hole fight, thats more than 12 times a round, you pirates are all full of hate.

Anybody that undestands just a pinch of box knows Maidana would KO Khan before RD6 if they where to meet again now a days.

    :bbb:hi:

    Alexander Vs Floyd

How boring would that fight be? Pretty sure it would be the GOAT on the boring scale.

Alexander walking forward trying to hug Floyd while Floyd uses his shoulder to fend him off for 12 rounds.

Oh brother but he beats an overratted Broner now he becomes viable for MW ..

    The contradictions are insane .

And hey he gave Khan all he could, handle I wouldn't mind seeing those 2 fight again ..But considering how Khan looked against Diaz you may be right.

Floyd: "i'll let the fans choose...Maidana or Khan"

    Maidana: Leftover of Amir

    Khan: Leftover of Garcia

Khan barely left the ring on his 2 feet. He landed the punch of his life and fought the best fight in his career and barely survived Maidana. If there was a rematch, Maidana puts a blonde wig on Khan and turns him into Shakira. A vengeful Maidana? Khan doesn't have a chance.

MVC! probably wants Floyd to face con because he knows its a cherrypick and nothing could go wrong... At least Maidana has a punchers chance and has looked good in his last few outings.. where as con man has looked like utter garbage against Journeymen and fringe contenders.... any fan of boxing would not support Mayweather/Khan, its an absolute joke of a fight .

How about this: I don't care if he would beat khan in a rematch as that still wouldn't suggest to me that he is ready to challenge mayweather. If he beats Porter and Thurman then he can call for that fight but now he has just one decent win at welterweight against a overhyped Broner.

The other funny thing is the people calling for a maidana fight weren't that long ago calling for a lucas fight and are the same people who moan that he fought lineal WW champ Baldomir. Get a grip guys.

The only people I want to see Mayweather in with at welterweight right now are Garcia, Bradley or Pac.

Maidana would be the worse cherrypick.

Khan really dominated him, and his flashing style suits better void's one, than the slow, sluggish and unaccurate Maidana.

In fact, MAidana was able to hit Khan only when he standed still in front of him.

And still, he wasn't even able to drop him, with all his best shots landing flush on Khan's chin.

Broner would have left the ring in a stretcher, if he hallowed to be hit that way.

And Khan is now better technically speaking.

His chin is probably a lil stronger, too.

Not that that matter, because Void's ko percentage is laughable, expecially at WW.

You can question Khans chin but not his heart (all due respect)

That being said a lot can happen in 3 years

    Khan :

    McCloskey (TD) Clash of heads
Judah (KO5) Judah claimed a low blow (BS)
Peterson (SD L) Khan deducted points, Peterson tested + afterwards
Garcia (TKO 4 L) Enough said really, despite Khan winning the rounds before he got clocked
    Molina (RTD 10) Confidence builder
Diaz (UD 12) Khan knocked down and nearly lost

    Maidana :

Morales (MD) - FOTY candidate, Morales went onto win WBC
Petrov (KO4) - Just a return home fight
Alexander (UD L) - Devon went onto win IBF title, held most of the night
Soto Karass (TKO8 ) - FOTY candidate, Soto Karass was a solid gatekeeper at 147
Martinez (KO3) - Another return home fight
Josesito Lopez (TKO6) - Lopez beat Ortiz and challenged for the WBC 154 belt, FOTY candidate
Adrien Broner - WBA Welterweight champion, great win

So whilst Khan had only beat Zab Judah and has lost twice once by TKO and looks to be on his way out of the sport, Maidana has been involved in 3 FOTY fights, picked up a title in a second division and has improved overall as a fighter

Amir Khan is a good fighter and I think he should take some harder fights before demanding a Mayweather bout. lets see him fight Robert Guerrero, Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, Devon Alexander (like he was ****ing supposed to), Broner etc.

    Floyd Mayweather Vs Marcos Maidana
    Amir Khan Vs Adrien Broner
    Thurman Vs Collazo

Hell id quite happily pay to see that card

Khan needs to man up and avenge Prescott.
