Let's not forget Brett Mather's silver medal - see video

The kid didn't even get mention here in WA news.

 

In the last month the WEst Australian have put in about three articles in relation to Brett Mather. From memory a week or two before the Youth Olympics Brett was mentioned in an article that also featured two other West Australians competing at the games. Another article had his mum wearing a pair of boxing gloves and getting her perspective of him competing at the Youth Olympic Games. Last Thursday was a small write up on how he won silver. Brett did a fair bit of media over in Singapore that will hopefully be shown over here in WA.

 

CHB Thanks for acknowledging the efforts of Brett Mather at the Youth Games. Brett has trained hard to get where he is and any positive recognition of his achievements is very much appreciated. Brett has only been competing for 3 1/2 years and has huge potential. He has collected a silver medal at the Arafura games, bronze at the World Champs and now a silver at the Youth Olympic games in this short time.

 

Congrats to Brett and yourself John.
