Both close fights as was Canelo-Trout but not as close. Styles make fights and Cotto just seemed more inspired against Floyd than Trout which makes sense since Floyd is the most talented fighter now and has been for yrs. That said just because these fights were close doesnt mean Floyd cant whoop Canelo or even other way around.

Where did I say Cotto has GREAT stamina? He doesn't, but Nelo has HORRIBLE stamina.

Nelo has some of the slowest feet yet.

Cotto must watch out for the uppercut.

 

I didn't see Cotto landed repeatedly on Trout's head, there are lots of memorable shots Cotto landed on Floyd with his jab and right hand and southpaw left. Very clean shots. Though Cotto had more success to Trout's body. And got hit more by Floyd.

Nobody was dominated in that fight . Cotto/Mayweather was a highly competitive bout . Floyd was the very clear winner , But it wasnt an easy victory for him by any means .

Cotto was not hurt in the 12th , Floyds punch simply knocked him off balance . If you read Cottos body language , You can see he wasnt staggared at all . He did not hold or retreat which most opponents do when they get hurt .

I would say this though...

Mayweathers win was more impressive/Clearer against Cotto than Trouts win . Trout didnt look good in the Cotto fight .
