Lets not forget the nasty beating Groves issued Golovkin in sparring

GGG is not a perfect technical fighter. He has vulnerabilities and does get hit. But he is every bit as devastating a puncher as he is made out to be and he seems to have a good chin and is entertaining. What is not to like? Ward for instance may be a bit more talented, but that is only a part of what it takes to be a great fighter. ALL fighters can be beat, but enjoy the ride until it happen, when it happens, and after it happens. Too many people have this idea that losing a fight means a fighter is exploited, which is a ridiculous notion.

 

Groves does not have a china jaw.

 

Per GGG: "[Groves] came, got dropped, I broke his ribs and he had to leave on the second day. This is all we had. No value from him."

 

Do we have a source for these comments? GGG's usually pretty closemouthed unless he has something complimentary to say.

 

I can't name the source though, it's an inside info, it is not supposed to be public that's why I post it on a forum and nowhere else. The way I post here you can assume I don't bull**** - it just started to get annoying to see all this crap about Groves being vocal this and that about GGG when in reality it was the other way around.

 

Wasn't Groves not talking about sparring GGG on ringside a couple of weeks ago? Never mentioned how he got on but his body language and his answers suggest he didn't really enjoy it.
