Pac is good, he is really good, but lets not get carried away with his victory over a shot Oscar, and oscar is a shot fighter. Pac did something that Shane Mosley, Julio Cesar Chavez, Hector Camacho, Floyd Mayweather, Pernell Whitaker, Fernando Vargas, Felix Trinidad, Ike Quartey, and even Bernard Hopkins couldn't do. Make Oscar quit. Yeah, hopkins KO'd him, but there is a difference between not being able to get up, and not willing to fight anymore. Is Pac just that much better than all those fighters that I mentioned, clearly not. Oscar is a shot fighter. So, that leaves us with the question how good is Pac man? He barely beat Juan Manuel Marquez, (I actually think that JMM won the second fight, and if not for the 3 knock downs in rd 1, Marquez would have won the first fight) JMM is a good fighter, but nobody is calling him a top 3 pound for pound fighter. Does anybody really think Pac would beat a real top notch welterweight, like Cotto, Margo or Mayweather? I'd want to see it, but does anybody really think Pac could win? What say you?

It's up to you not to get carried away...as for the rest of the boxing world, I think they have already decided to get carried away, most probably justifiably so.

Nobody believed Oscar was still near his prime before the fight, yet all of us thought it was still a shameful mismatch. I personally thought the first left hook landed by Oscar would result in a decapitation-like scenario.

I'm still digesting the shocking results of the mismatch.

Pac should be credited for taking this fight despite the odds of going up two divisions higher. It is a fight that no one except Roach gave him a chance to win. I don't think Marquez can eke out that kind of victory that Pac did who exhibited his complete skills as a technical boxer. Of course, 147 is not Pac's natural weight. So, it is absurd to say that Pac should fight Cotto, Margo, and Mayweather. He may have a chance of beating them at 140 though. Who knows? Pac is a freak of nature.

Yep that's what makes him win so impressive sure some people are getting carried away as far as ATG rankings go but nonetheless his win over DLH was highly impressive.
