He does have underrated power. When he switches to Gypsy Beast mode from Slick Gypsy mode and sits down on his shots he can do damage.

    Enjoy

Maybe he is a fanboy, but all that seems to read as being at the other end of that spectrum, possibly making you just as much as a hater as he may be a fanboy.. But, for real, maybe Tyson is a light puncher? Maybe so. But basing that opinion on the other top fighters in the division and what I'm guessing is KO ratio comparisons is possibly some faulty logic. I would think the KO ratio Tyson fury shows, more than anything, that he prefers to fight in a style that is not dependent upon his power. He's a slick moving fighter who usually isn't flat-footed, sitting down on punches. The other night, he came out huge, and came forward all night, he wanted to knock Wilder out, just like he said he was going to do. Impressive too because most fighters don't do that. No disrespect intended or anything, I just disagree with that opinion.

David Haye also told us he was going to be an exciting fighter at Heavyweight that he was going to KO both Klitschko brothers that he was going to be undisputed Heavyweight champion and then all he proceeded to do was have boring fights and make ridiculous excuses. Sorry if I don't take Haye for his word.

A little clue for you, talking about your ambitions and you're rating of current contenders is very different.

And yes Haye has more inside knowledge than anyone on this forum.

Given fury rarely fights aggressively or sits on his shots we may see similar results if he stays in this style

I'd say hed be a pretty good puncher and stop many opponents with the approach sugar hill had him take

This. I don’t think you can say Wilder has a weak chin, since he absorbed a lot of flush shots from Fury, but even most durable guy will crack if he keeps getting hit in the same spot over and over again or somebody gets them off guard.

Also, Fury was getting Wilder to walk into a lot of shots. I can’t remember if it was the 1st or 2nd round, but Fury got Wilder with three jabs in a row and Wilder’s legs started going weak. Even before Fury busted Wilder’s ear I think all of those jabs Wilder kept walking into took all of the strength out of his legs.

People sometimes underestimate how much a bunch of well timed jabs can gradually just drain the fight out of you.

Fury's always been able to punch; I've said that for years. A man that size with that speed and technique and workrate is going to cause damage, no matter what. But the real reason you hardly ever see Fury knock people out is it's just not his style. When he goes for it, really digs those heavy shots into the midsection or clubs you round the head you're going to feel it.

Chisora, one of the toughest heavyweights out there, had his face bloated and swollen from a Fury who wasn't even trying to go for the KO. Cunningham, a man who took on some of the biggest punchers in the CW and HW division at the time was only ever stopped by Fury. Wilder, a man who took the best Ortiz, Stiverne and Breazeale could dish out, was made to look like an old school SFII Sagat in the post-fight defeat screen.

Now perhaps people will finally realise that Fury can punch, and if it looks like he can't then it's a tactical decision not a lack of ability.

Yeah, it's mentally and physically draining to keep getting your head snapped back like that. Puts you on the backfoot both literally and strategically. It was the body shots which really did the damage though. Some of those punches were just thudding in their impact, and he kept swinging away with them whenever Wilder tried to cover up.

Aside from being 6'02" Short. Today Max Baer will be called a Small Bum after Wilder sparks him with a Right hand.

It was a nice clean hit behind the ear, It virtually has nothing to do with your chin... Look how hurt Wilder was and he was still taking plenty of damage on his chin.
