Let's not put Witter on the same level as Hatton any more.

Witter showed me he was on a higher level than Hatton when he fought Judah and Bradley. Hatton never showed the guts to fight dangerous titlist and contenders.

Witter offered a reasonably high risk fight for Hatton, without bringing much to the table money wise. Anybody in the UK that would watch Witter, would probably watch Hatton anyway thus it's not really gaining much of an audience, certainly globally, Witter would bring little to the table.... even with a title.

I always got the impression Witter wanted a piece of Hatton for a big payday and for a launchpad for his own career. Fighting Witter certainly wouldn't of been a step forward for Hatton, or enhance his reputation.

 

So you are saying Hatton, who got destroyed in two (by Pac) must obviously be on a higher level than Witter if Witter (hypothetically) got dropped and hammered in the 1st round (by Pac) and didn't bother to come out for the 2nd?

So, if Witter (hypothetically) got to the 3rd round (against Pac) before getting destroyed would he be 50% better than Hatton? I guess he would be an ATG if he got to the 7th using the Hatton beatdown yardstick for evaluating and determining a fighter's level.

By getting completely owned, showing no heart, losing every round in both fights. And getting dropped by the light hitting Bradley? I hate to say it but acctually Witter is just all talk and a complete fraud. I too use think he was really good, until i realized he was garbage.

Prime Witter? When was that? He fought bums his entire career and the few times he did step up, he was humiliated. I guess he has one good win Vivian Harris, but even Carlos Mauusa beat him as well.

TBH Witter is all mouth and a fraud. He fights like he has no balls because he cannot take a punch.

 

Let’s not kid ourselves, both of these guys are over hyped chumps who would be better suited as club fighters. Why did Witter quit? Could anyone make out what the hell he was trying to say? “H’ello bloke, my elbow be bending, ahh, ahh, it make me cry arghhh!”…Shut up and stop wasting our time with these bums from across the Atlantic. Someone find me a tough kid from Tijuana to take Witter’s place.
It must be a real burden for a champion like Carl Froch to have to try and disassociate himself from those pretenders in the British boxing scene.
