Wonder how far back one would have to go (18 months? Less?) to find an abundance of really laughable ESB posts along these kind of lines:

Witter has shown signs of decline for a few fights now, look at his age and look as what he relied on in his prime. He got injured tonight.
He's a few years older than Hatton, and I believe prime for prime Witter wins.

Damn straight. Hatton would have mauled Witter to quit like he did last night. I've never had any respect for Witter and I'm glad in a way he never got his dream fight with Hatton. It's a shame he diddn't though because it would have been nice to see Hatton slam Witter in the ribs.

 

Not a good year for British boxing. Not so long ago you had Calzaghe p4p, Hatton p4p, Witter was the titlist, now its Carl Froch who is about to be exposed by the Matrix.

 

People forget that he looked spectacular against Vivian Harris and that was at his best, but I think canceled D-Hop fight really affected him and has been going downhill since. I'm not going to make excuses to why he quit against Alexander. He had a chance to redeem himself, but he fought like crap.

Amazing...just few months ago Witter was the most avoided guy in boxing. He was so green agaisnt Judah that only an idiot would mention that fight when talking about Witter..
