He won't lose ... keep this page ... and referr back to it ... HE WON'T LOSE.

What are you going to say when Cotto loses? (either to Floyd or Margarito)

Nate Campbell is a 36 yr old journeyman who lucked up and got a title (I predicted that victory on EBS) and is looking for a big payday ... He's not the champion ... Casamayor is ...

You know, Mayweather got his shot for the SprFW title w/o a belt or any for champs on his resume. Nothing wrong with that. It actually happens all the time. Contenders come up and beat a champ. You see, whe you start thinking a fighter NEEDS to have won a linear title, or beat former champs first, you just are making it more difficult or most boxers to get a shot.

BTW, what you typed is EXACTLY what Baldomir did for his shot. In other words, nothing really. But he made the most of it. But you're smarter then me, you know all that before you typed it.

The fighter who fights his way towards him ...

When has a champion immediately fought the top guy after winning the title?

It's a process ... Floyd is fighting good quality guys ... 4 of his last 5 fights were against former/reigning champions ... beating Judah (IBF) ... beat Baldomir (WBC/linear/ring magazine) ... and Ricky Hatton (former WBA champion) ... DLH (reigning WBC SWW champion) ... how come that doesn't grant any respect?

I don't get it ... Cotto beats an already beaten up Judah off 400 days of inactivity ... a faded Mosley who hadn't a WW title in 6 yrs previous to fighting Cotto and hadn't had an significant wins since 2004 ... he beat an up and coming Quintana 1-1 in title fights ... and Oktay Urkal ... no notable victories and no world titles .... for a belt that Hatton vacated may I add.

Oh I will refer back to this page when he loses.. You just better hope he doesn't lose.. Never once did I claim Cotto was unbeatable.. Campbell is still a title holder who's calling challengers out as well as Casamayor, as it seem's Casa won't take the fight..

He was an up and comer w/ a great amateur pedigree ... add to that it was his first title fight against the reigning champion in Genero Hernandez. He hasn't lost a title fight in 19 bouts ...

Casa is the champion and has been since he beat Diego Corrales ... and I haven't heard him call out anyone as of yet ... besides other champions from different weight classes.

how much time is supposed to pass. there is a new number one once that fight ends, and that fighter has already earned his spot.

duran 135, hagler 160 the only word coming out of their mouths after defending their title was who's next

WTH does this mean? :huh Does that mean Floyd defends only against pressure fighters? Kinda vague choice of wording.

Well, Floyd did it earlier in his career. @ 130 & 135. Tito fought Hopkins right after winning a belt from Joppy. DLH has done that several times. Hell, he went from Ike to Carr to Tito. Plenty have, But you knew that already, since you know more then me.
