I'm caring less and less about undisputed titles with every passing day. Neither one of them would be able to hold all of the belts for long. When Fury held the 4 AJ has currently, he got stripped by the IBF, who knew full well he was bound by a rematch clause with Klitschko. He couldn't make any other fight, even if he had wanted to fight Charles Martin at the time. There existing 50 belts for every weight class only makes the matter less relevant. This isn't a division problem, it's an organizational/sport wide problem that needs to be fixed with mergers so there are fewer belts.

Nobody wants to see Fury/Wilder 3, other than WIlder's small fan base who think Fury used some sort of voodoo to win last time. Most people think Fury won both fights and the second one wasn't close.

Whoever wins this fight will be seen as the best heavyweight boxer in the world.

I agree with what you are saying, but it was actually Glazkov that was the IBF mandatory. Martin was chosen as Glazkov's opponent to fight for the title. Glazkov pop's his knee in the 3rd, and we ended up with Charles Martin holding the belt. He must be considered up there as being one of the luckiest ever World Champions. Well, until he took a beating off Joshua in his next fight.

Absolutely. But this is Fraudulent Fury we are talking about. And his daughter is supposedly coming home from the doctor's already. So what's his next excuse?

I like this idea, but I like the idea of Fury getting KTFO waaaaaayy better.

The odds are against it, but I can dream. Someone get the Jethro King out of there, please!

"Former champion". This means jack **** if you didn't beat quality to get there. Wilder beat no one that really deserved a true claim to being a top 10 opponent. How much value it has to smack around Wilder is debatable. I don't even consider anyone Wilder has beat, besides Ortiz, as even Chisora level.

You refer Wilder as a former champion to make him seem like a greater threat than he actual is to bolster your point, but at the same time refer to him as a homeless crackhead?

    With Whyte and Wilder -

    1. It's a fight that we've not seen yet, rather than the same fight for A THIRD TIME.

    2. It's far more likely to be a closer fight, rather than the 90% chance of Fury just obliterating Wilder for the majority of the fight.

    3. It hardly takes a brain to figure out why someone would not want to see a 3rd fight between two opponent where the outcome is extremely predictable, vs a fight that is likely to be very entertaining on and off the ring. Whyte vs Wilder would potentially be a competition, Fury vs Wilder is likely NOT to be a competition. 9/10 we all know Fury obliterates Wilder.

Fighters having more technical skill =/= that the fight will be more entertaining. Don't try to make yourself out to be this ****ing enlightened individual with a deeper appreciation for boxing just because you'd prefer "supreme skills" being put on display.

I want to see Fury fight, but I'd prefer not to see him fight the same opponents over and over again, especially if it's just him obliterating them. I'm not the only one who thinks this way either.

I also don't think it's fair to refer to Whyte as a bum either. He isn't as technically sound as some of them, but he's not a bad boxer either. A fight with Dillian Whyte is always entertaining. He's never boring.

Whyte gets his weird pin head taken off. No head movement and leaky defence is a recipe for disaster when fighting Wilder.

Wilder is a former champion who has only lost to Fury. Whyte is a drug cheat who just got folded by a 40 year old career contender and only one the rematch because said 40 year old got covid. Whyte is completely irrelevant and will continue to be so until he does something impressive

WBC aren't going to order Whyte vs Wilder period. If the WBC had any interest in that or faith that Wilder would beat Whytebthey would of made this fight years ago.

If by some miracle WBC order this fight and Wilder doesn't pull out then Whyte wins inside 2 rounds. Whyte would physically bully Wilder, putting him on the back foot from the start (lendering Wilder helpless as can't box in the backfoot) , landing body shots (Whyte is one best in the divison at this and Wilder was dropped by a weak glancing body shot in his last fight) and then KOing him.

The gulf in quality of resumes between the two is clear for all to see.

Povetkin is better than anyone Wilder has beaten. Whyte is better than anyone Wilder has beaten.

    Your argument is bs.

Povetkin is levels above anyone Wilder has ever beaten... Even the shot versions Whyte fought would've made Ortiz look hopelessly amateur - Whyte was comfortably winning the first and got careless, something you can't afford to do against an experienced top level contender like Povetkin.

Whyte is not only levels better than anyone Wilder has beaten, his resume is far superior to Wilder's too.

Ortiz only has one notable win which was against Jenning over 5 years ago. Whilst both Whyte and Povetkin have far superior resumes to Wilder let alone Ortiz.
