Yeah, perfectly put. This entire thread is spin and bull**** to deflect attention from the Klitschko cowardice.

i'll keep saying it - post a bull**** comment like this and you never fought in your life.....

i don't understand how someone can be a boxing fan and keep using hypocritical reasoning like this to defend a point.

THINK before you speak - because people tend to give a lot more away over the net than they do it real life because they think people can't read them so well.

it's the opposite in most cases because people let their guard down.

Easy there tiger. The point is not that Haye has a problem with it (he wants to fight the best) but rather the chicken**** nature of the clause itself. Haye agreed to this incredulous clause that KLITSCHKO'S CAMP DREW UP.

They have been unreasonable, but they have been adamantly suggesting to the fans that Haye is too greedy. He's the one offering to go to Germany (can't deliver chelsea blah blah) and has accepted the unheard of stipulations.

    Who really wants to fight?

the saddest part about this fight falling apart is not being able to rid this place of haye's delusional British cheerleaders with a lifetime ban bet :yep :yep

im still hoping a deal gets done cause i don't want hear this ducking **** anymore...and y'all know FW and SG are just gonna milk this **** til the end of time

if they don't fight, haye better not cherrypick another "ABC top 10" bum...he needs to step up regardless whom he fights...if you're gonna talk **** at least fight someone good

looks like i'll have to settle for an avatar bet when my boy sam peter takes on chambers and puts the hw division back on notice

Oh alright I used the word to irritate the Klitschko fans, sue me

It's no worse than the insults that are being slung in Hayes direction by the Klit-ites, all because he refused to sign a contract that even Don King would have been ashamed to put on the table. This thread is just nonsense and is missing the point entirely.

@ WiDDoW - Like thesandman said, why do you assume Vitali would fight him immediately after?

Now I'm not implying that Vitali would duck Haye, but he turned down the fight because the WBC enforced Gomez as his mandatory, what if by the time Haye-Wlad & a potential rematch was over with, he was enforced with a mandatory once more, and he might be more concerned with keeping the belt he was made champion emeritus of and decide to face his mandatory. Therefore is Haye has to make a defence in the meantime before a potential Vitali fight, would that not mean he's stripped and Wlad gets his belts back on the back of 2 defeats?

    What do you mean?

Say Haye beats Wlad, then Wlad gets an immediate rematch. Obviously he is going to drop in the rankings, making this a voluntary defence as he won't be the #1, although of course he is contractually obliged.

Then after 2 potential fights with Wlad, he would most likely be enforced with a mandatory. Now Haye has made it clear several times he wants to be the undisputed champion, meaning if he was in the position where he had 2 belts, obviously he wants to keep both and then go after Vitali's WBC.

However, if he's enforced with a mandatory prior to fighting Vitali Klitschko, which is very likely to happen, the clause requires him to vacate the titles instead of face his mandatory, and then Haye will most likely face Vitali, however it will be with no belts, as he'll be forced to vacate by the contract.

So even if he beats Vitali Klitschko, he'll only have the WBC belt to show for it, and although he'll be recognised as undisputed, he won't actually go down as undisputed, as he'll only have ever held 2 belts at the same time.

This in mind I guarentee Wlad and his team are not confident of victory. That's why they have this 'vacate' clause in contract. They are guarenteeing themselves titles even in defeat. If Haye beats Wlad and then if forced to vacate and then loses to Vitali, then Vitali keeps his WBC and Wlad can take get his old belts back. If Haye beats Wlad, vacates and then beats Vitali, then they will go back and split the vacated IBF & WBO titles between them.

if this fight comes off, a lot of people are gonna look stupid. let things unfold and the truth surface before taking press releases from each side as fact.

i think the fight will happen sooner or later if Haye produces at hw.

Nowhere near as confident as their nut-huggers are, obviously. I guess they've found out in sparring that WALDOS chin hasn't healed overnight :yep

Anyone claiming to know the specifics of this contract negotiation is talking bull****.
I hope things are not as hopeless as they appear now because Wlad/Haye would be the biggest HW title fight since Vitali/Lewis and would have the biggest pre-fight hype since Lewis/Tyson.
