So now Haye makes the terms? Did he ask to have those rematch clauses in the contract? Because I thought he was just "a voluntary defense and had no rights" according to you.

I think it's not so much that Haye wants those conditions, but rather he knew he HAD to agree to them in order to get Wladdy to show up and fight.

Well if Haye can't get this fight signed, all he has to do is to petition the ABCs for a mandatory eliminator fight and let Wlad fight Arreola.

    He is WBC#4, WBA#6, IBF#11, WBO#2.

He could accept James Toney's challenge and make it an eliminator as Toney is WBC#8, IBF#6, WBO#6.

He could accept Kevin Jonhson challenge and make it an eliminator as KJ is WBA#5

He could ask the WBA to apoint an eliminator between him and Kali Meehan, who is WBA#1

Or he could ask the WBO to apoint an eliminator between him and WBO#1 Sacha Dimitrenko.

All those fights could be made in the first semester, all good winnable fights for Haye and would put him in line as a mandatory for one of the Klitchkos somewhere in the second semester.

As a mandatory Haye doesn't need to agree to rematch clauses because the champ is obrigated to do the fight or vacate.

Yes, it is a very bad answer my friend I'm afraid :think

IF what's coming from Hayes camp is true then the Klits should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves because they now look like the duckers in this scenario I'm afraid. First VITLAY saying he'll fight Haye, Haye agrees, then he backs out allegedly on a coin toss and lets WALDO step in, now this.....

Sorry Chef your boys ain't looking good right now.

Why not do that in the ring? Why all the BS? He should be looking to shut Haye up without making difficult contracts. Get it done like a real champion.

They're the ONLY points in all this bull**** I'm afraid. Haye has been consistent from the off he's said he'll fight BOTH Klits to grab the glory at HW. First VITLAY pulls out, now WALDO. Draw your own conclusions, you shouldn't even need this contract bull**** to do it, who's ducking who is the question and Haye isn't a ducker, never has been, never will be. VITLAY and WALDO on the other hand....different matter.

Haye has also been consistent to blame the other fighter when contracts don't get signed too. Remember all those opponents he was going to face then didn't? Kevin Johnson was pretty upset if I remember correctly. Bottom line is fights with Haye fall apart, a lot.

Edit: Yep I remembered correctly. I went to the scene that discusses boxing and searched for Kevin Johnson. Wouldn't you know, multiple stories about Haye's antics a few months ago. Try "Haye bails on Kevin Johnson, JD Chapman now in?", there's two that were proposed but didn't get signed right there.

I would really like a fight between Haye and either Povetkin or Dimitrenko, three young guys, part of the future of the sport.

Haye has been exercising that jaw so much that no one can think it is glass anymore. And by June he will have grown into heavy weight even if you have to go feed him yourself. How's that? What else ya got?

I never said he didnt have rights, what I said is that he was pushing to hard for $$$. A multi deal is good for both sides. It puts alot of cash in everyones pockets if it plays out and for Haye to now act like the "options clause" was the reason things have stalled is bull****
