Marvin Hagler would have beaten the ever living dog sh!t outta Canelo and it's an insult that some dimwits on here ever suggested otherwise.

Gosh Hagler is so underrated overall. Both him and Hearns

Hagler would destroy any Middle to Super Middle (maybe not Carlos Monzon).

Arguably he beats Canelo up even worse. Shouldn't even be a question.

Even if you go a step down in the greatness ladder from Hagler (and Monzon), Canelo IMO isn't beating guys like Hopkins, Toney, McCallum, Kalambay, peak Nunn, etc.

Tonight underlined my belief that Canelo is closer to very good than great. Hagler, with his work rate, would be all kinds of trouble.

I said similar things awhile ago….That early 90s MW era was something. So much talent, but unfortunately not too many matchups between the remarkable talent took place.

Who the hell thought that? There's no way in hell Canelo would beat Hagler. Peak Hagler would out box him with his footwork and a slightly prime Hagler would take it to Canelo and eventually gas him out and potentially stop him.

No doubt, in the championship rounds Hagler would be all over him like a rash.

You can't fatigue against Hagler. He will definitely get the stoppage.

He arguably lost against Austin friggin' Trout for Christ sake. He's a very good fighter who's been protected his whole career because he was marketable. Not ATG material.

There's a higher chance of peak Hagler stopping him. I think he would, especially if we're talking about 15 rounder.
